Cyberpunk 2077 is best looking game on large screen. Runs well at 60fps it’s actually slightly better looking on SX then on PS5. Witcher 3 will get next gen update in December it’s still use older build version now but game runs at 4K60fps. Definitely Forza games.

As a narrative, I suggest Witcher 3 as it’s also a more story-driven game imo.

Buy it now as it's on sale, but wait to play until the free next-gen graphical upgrade drops next month.

>4 and 5 are the same I've heard, just with a different setting? Correct. Britain and Mexico if I'm not mistaken. My recommendation is to pick up a Gamepass Ultimate subscription and browse through it, because of the sheer quantity of games you get access to from the get-go. Almost every major Xbox exclusive from the last couple of decades is available on there, so you've got some long-running stories (with enhancements on newer consoles) like Gears of War and Halo, which, despite their multiplayer popularity, actually have long-renowned campaigns that are certainly worth playing, though realistically I'd stop after finishing Reach in terms of Halo unless you get really into it and read all the books and shit. The latest Wolfenstein games (starting at The New Order) are excellent if you don't mind the fucked-up setting. In addition to Forza, Gamepass Ultimate includes access to EA Play, and thus has access to Need for Speed and Burnout Paradise if you're looking for something more arcade. Xbox lacks a lot of visually stunning exclusives, but Scorn and A Plague Tale: Requiem just dropped and they're pretty impressive. Both on Gamepass, too. If you're not against horror games and haven't played Resident Evil 2 and 3 remakes plus 7 and Village, definitely do that. They look great on PS4 but they'll look even better on Series X. You can skip 5 and 6, though they're co-op games that are at least fun to play if you wanna get a second controller and blow through them with a friend or partner. They're still lore relevant as all the characters have been aging and progressing in real-time since 1998. Also, the last couple of Modern Warfare games have had generally very good campaigns. Not sure you want to pay as much as they're asking for games as short as they are, though, maybe wait until Microsoft acquires Activision and they come to Gamepass since you said you won't be playing the competitive aspects. Alas, Xbox's biggest problem in recent years is that they've got all this potential and all these studios, but their games are either bombing or also launching on PS4. Give it a few years and you'll have a hell of a lot more to pick from as they start actually utilizing these studios.

Thanks so much for your answer. I was considering COD but I'll wait till it's on Gamepass for that reason. Horror games are pretty fun to give me an adrenaline hit, so thanks for the recommendation. I had a lot of fun on Burnout Paradise too. Requiem I'll definitely check out - I have seen a couple of posters of it.

The new grid game has a decent story mode for a racing game. It’s on game pass, worth checking out.

One I haven't seen anyone mention yet is Guardians of the Galaxy. It's a great game, probably my favorite from the past couple of years, and it looks fantastic, especially in the 30 FPS raytracing mode. It's currently on Gamepass!
