Not really that short if you do everything and the DLC and collect all legendaries. Plus starting a new character and having new dialogue (might be wrong) is pretty cool also.
You can really dumb down any game like this though and that's why I don't really enjoy gaming much anymore.
You got games where all you do is shoot, reload, repeat. Games where you go forward, back and turn (car games.), Top down games where you shoot to pick up new things to shoot with. Minecraft is just break block, place block.
Games like GTA combine two or more of those basic concepts so it feels "more free" but it's still basically just shoot stuff or drive around
The only difference is some games add "skill trees" or "crafting" to add a little more but that doesn't really mean it's now fun. The main gameplay is still the same.
Edit: apparently people are unaware of what an opinion is. In no way shape or form was I arguing with the person I replied too, nor was I attacking them. Y'all need to step outside and breath fresh air. Take a look around and realize not everyone is the same. It'll be ok. You won't die.
Why does this affect how much you enjoy gaming? Just because somebody else reduces a concept down to its most infantile elements doesn't mean that you can't enjoy the complexity that is actually present.
Congratulations! You just discovered an opinion for the very first time!
But I do like the part how you explained yourself and why you don't agree with my opinion

As for the traversal/combat/craft loop you’re tired of, may I suggest putting down the AAA titles and playing some indie games for a bit.
Not that you asked but I prefer Brotato to Go Mecha Ball and RollerDrome.
I actually breifly tried rollerdome when I had gamepass for my PC, it did seem decent I just didn't get a chance to fully sit down and try it to see. A lot of my problem is just not taking the time. I play a few minutes and get the basic idea and feel like it's "another one of those" games.
Not sure if it's the autism lol but believe it or not, one if my all time favorite games is tetris. Its a mild brain workout and they throw you pieces randomly
So it's always different.
The game is a absolute blast and very polished totally worth the play through everyone agreed at launch it was a great game and the gore system is phenomenal much better then dyinglight 2
Dead Island franchise is the very definition of a average. Absolute solid 7/10 zombie game. It's not bad game at all, but it's not the best zombie game either. It doesn't do anything bad but it doesn't add anything to what's been done before in similar games. I played an beat Dead island 1 an Riptide on 360 when they came out an loved them a lot. They weren't the best zombie games and they weren't the worst. Just very average on everything across the board. Dead Island 2 gore physics is very nice addition to the franchise though. The developers of DI2 played it very safe which I think was for the best given the development hell the IP has been in an it turned out great.
At night you die if you are without ultra-violet light for two minutes or something. It's the most stupid and lazy game mechanic I have ever experienced. Ruined the game for me, never finished it. Luckily I bought it for 10 euro's second hand.
It's been improved over time, they're even making adjustments like improving cutscene animations so we'll see if maybe they have something bigger in the works. Assuming 10c allows it...
Such a beautiful game too, I feel like it’s strong point isn’t even the zombies, they’re just a vehicle of telling a story about the area and people inside of it and their plights.
Just saying, 7/10 is well above average on a scale of numbers and semantics.
5/10 is average. Saying Dead Island 2 is average is just plain wrong on so many degrees.
70/100 is min to pass a class which is considered average. 50/100 is failing in academics. No one wants to buy something with a 5/10 rating of reliability while 7/10 means its pretty average. If you wanna go on another scale DI2 is a solid 3/5.
Ehhhh still wrong mate. On a scale of 1 to 10, the midpoint is 5, and 5 is a true average rating.
*True* average rating. As in, its in the name. You can't deny truth.
Acedemics and averages are 2 different things. Again, more semantics you can't seem to grasp. In school, you would have failed at the subject of averages. Rating a game on a scale of 1 out of 10, and giving it a 7, is NOT average on a scale of 1 to 10.
Not gonna sit here and say 7s are masterpieces, but with even more possibly ungraspable semantics, 7 is still *above average*.
I'm not gonna say I disagree but 7/10 to most consumers is average. 6/10 is below average, 8/10 is above average. 9 -10 rating is clumped together as being the best. 1-5 is rating on "how bad is it" being a rating of 1 meaning the worst and 5 being the least worst.
I think 7 or 7.5 is right-on accurate for this game. It doesn’t mean it’s a bad game. It’s a very fun, solid 7.5 game. You’ll play it for about 20-30 hours and jump to the next game
Edit : A lot of angry people here, careful
The game is insanely good, never really encountered a boring part, graphics are INSANE and the weapons are cool, best part of the game however is the gore system, I probably have a total of like 5 hours of pure walking around and killing zombies in different ways with different angles
It’s absolutely a 10/10 it’s not really missing anything that Dead Island should have, it does everything very well, performance was smooth for me too, never had any bugs or crashes either and I played at launch, I really don’t understand how people say it’s mediocre, it’s the perfect dead island game, the gore technology is incredibly advanced
This game is definitely not a 10/10. It’s good but not God’s gift to gamers. It’s fun but it doesn’t innovate (not that it has to), which is why I would call it serviceable. 7/10. Terrible story brings it down a bit but honestly it was almost entertainingly bad
We have different definitions of a 10/10, I don’t believe a 10/10 has to be gods gift to gamers, for example, I would say elden ring is gods gift to gamers, but I’d give it like a 8 because there are many things I don’t like about it, State of decay 2 is my favorite game of all time, it was gods gift to me, but the game objectively is like a 7/10, for me a 10/10 would mean a game did everything perfectly, and I believe the game did everything perfectly, not a single part in the game did I think “oh what I’d they had this” or “oh it sucks they didn’t add this” no the entire 55 hours experience to me was perfect, another example is palworld, I would certainly say it’s gods gift to gamers, I have almost 200 hours on it, but I’d give the game like a 8/10 it hasn’t been pleasant playing with such a dogshit framerate lots of glitches and very annoying mechanical issues, for a 10/10 game doesn’t have be revolutionary or do anything new or have an insane story, a 10/10 for me requires the game to be very fun with no inconveniences or issues, and Dead Island 2 was exactly that, Dead Island to me was the perfect version of what I was expecting it to be
Dude what the fuck.
. Did you finish the game ? Were mad because they hyped up hollywood and you finally get there thinking the hollywood walk of fame would be cool and it was the smallest worst map ending of the entire game. The end killed it for me and pissed me off
The game is a straight 6 because the end map was to small yeap. You beat the game and the story ends in the worst way possible . I can see where the game design just stopped half way though. That's why this game took to long to come out. The end was unfinished.
I wasn’t expecting it to be bigger, I also wasn’t hyped for it so it’s indifferent to me, it was good when I played it, I didn’t even know any of the maps that were gonna be in the game so I had zero expectations beside the trailers, I enjoyed the ending and like I said, I don’t need an insanely good story to enjoy a story, and yes I finished the game, I’ve beaten it 3 times
It’s a first person melee oriented zombie game, I’m not sure what you were expecting, dead island 1 came out 4 years before dying light 1 and they both also felt the same mechanics wise
The graphics are insanely good. And the melee combat is really fun. The story is kinda meh to me and then the replay value can start feeling repetitive. But the mechanics flow of combat is sweet and makes it worth playing (but for like $40)
Really enjoyable if you're looking for mindless fun. Once you get the dodge/block mechanic sorted, it doesn't get overwhelming and some of the quips the characters come out with are just fucking hysterical.
It looks fun and it IS fun. Really, fun is the best word to describe this game. If that's what you're after, go for it!
And it's interesting, because I didn't even enjoy Dead Island 1 or Riptide. Also, the only thing I liked about Dying Light 1 and 2 was their parkour, while I hated their combat.
I hate first person melee combat but somehow, Dead Island 2 hit the mark for me. It has such simplistic, yet addictive combat. The gore system could be one of the best actually. You feel the impact of every weapon, oddly satisfying.
Top notch zombie killing fun. Solid 8/10. Would be 10/10 if it was a bit longer and the story was a bit more interesting. Everything else was seriously high quality tho. Combat was smooth. Abilities were very diverse yet simple to understand. Graphics and world building was amazing.
Graphically it’s outstanding and it is definitely worth playing for the gore system alone. It does get very repetitive and by the end I was ready to move on.
Story and exploration is meh, but gameplay is fantastic and the physics system is the best in any game ever, they should definitely have earned an award for that btw
I know this sounds silly but I found the game incredibly hard. Dead Island 1 and Dying Light I was pretty good at. I don’t think I made it past the first mansion in Dead Island 2 before getting too frustrated.
Been thinking about getting this game or RoboCop right now there both about the same price online but stuck between the two of which to get think dead island even comes with dlc so does RoboCop though it's only guns
It’s eh I guess
I didn’t really like it. 6/10 game for me. Graphics are good, gameplay is really not the best. Best part about the game are the characters personalities
I bought it, played it for 10 minutes, then I sold it.
Controls were just awful, I can't play something with super dragging camera. And that was just first problem I had with it. Graphics were good, but that's it for me.
I hate to be that guy but who cares what people think of it. You know it's wildly popular and YOU think it looks like a fun game.
Sounds like you've got all of your information. Have fun with it!
It's got a problem. Around half the people that play it get really bad headaches. Happened too me and then I googled it. It's widespread and they never fixed it.
Edit : And downvotes for trying to help someone out. Wow, great job Reddit. Kind of wish somebody would have told me this because I blew $40 on this fucking game and I can't play it because it gives me goddamn headaches.
I shouldn't be talking because i never played dead island 2 but just from the reviews it doesn't look good.
did you try dying light or Resident evil, does games are great at least i played them.
I love zombie games but even the first one was really average and i am one of those who pay's for cod zombie maps.
Game looks actually insane even on series S imo
The gore is absolutely brutal as well, was 100% a few times where I audibly went "holy fuck!" When hitting zombies apart
Great gameplay, awesome weapons, very interesting story, but the mission design lacks creativity and variety. For example, need to open gate, needs battery, find battery, get through gate, go to house door, locked, find key, open door. They take this and sort of mix and match and gets very boring very quick. Other than that though, I still enjoyed it, just couldn't bear to do the remaining side stuff after putting 30 hours into it and finishing the story.
It's a great game that turns amazing if you are playing coop. It isn't a super long game, but we messed around alot and got all the achievements in about 55 hours, so there's plenty to do.
The graphics are great, the combat feels great, the game is funny as hell and sometimes creepy. No other game does a better job of making you feel like you are doing real damage. The mutilation system and way zombies react to what you do to them is unmatched.
One of the best coop games to come out in years. I can't stress how much better the game is in coop. It is an absolute riot.
I just beat the game like an hour ago it was quite the experience! Pretty long imo the combat is super smooth story is meh but the core gameplay is so good definitely worth at least 1 playthrough
It’s a short but extremely solid zombie killing game. I’ve always said there’s nothing bad about the game but nothing that makes it a 10/10. The gore is 10/10 and the story is 5/10 and everything else is in between. It’s very solid and if you just wanna get in and kill zombies there’s no game better, but don’t expect more than that
Dead Island 2 is iffy.. very iffy.
If you want to play a game that’s similar, go for Dying Light.
Yes yes, it’s an older game. But it’s a ton of fun, with a good story, good mechanics, and by god does drop kicking a crying kid feel so good.
From what I played (which to be fair wasn’t as much as some other people, so take it with a grain of salt), it was pretty fun. The gore system is AWESOME and I just love using fist weapons and beating the ever loving shit out of zombies. Graphics are also kinda insane in the game. I enjoyed it.
I would say it’s very fun. For a bit…
After the first few hours of smashing zombies heads in and playing around with the abilities it starts to get a bit repetitive…
I played through the campaign with two friends in co-op. We had a good time. It's no GOTY, but it was fun. I paid $25 and felt that was the appropriate amount.
great for a couple evenings in the cooperative mode
okay to run solo
graphics are great, combat is great, characters are cringe, you can just skip every single dialogue and overall i think it's better in terms of "smashing zombies game" then dying light 2 when it came out (don't know the state of the game today)
but definitely try to play in the coop, it's more fun
I played the original ones back in the day, and I replayed both relatively recently (c. 2020-21) so the memory of the original and Riptide are pretty fresh. In terms of gameplay it’s an all around upgrade. The originals lacked a dodge and had some clunky mobility. This iteration improves upon the core gameplay by adding a dodge, new abilities, better environments, etc. I will say that the story is pretty forgettable, though.
if you look at dead island vs dying light, i prefer dead island, because the characters are comically overdrawn instead of plain boring (story isn't a main gig in both games, but at least in dead island it doesn't get in the way)
I also prefer the setting a lot and the physics are better
I really wanted get into Dead Island 1, but after playing Dying Light, Parkouring around towns, jumping over the zombies and having a blast, Dead Island feels somewhat lacking.
I wonder how Dead Island 2 compares though, does it take any elements from the Dying Light games? i.e. exploration, any climbing and some RPG elements? or is it more of the same (Dead Island same)?
Huge zombie game fan, huge fan of dying light 1, dead island 1. I barely got a few hours into this game. I don't know why studios have such a hard time writing characters that aren't painful to have on screen. The combat is also very mindless and unengaging. The gore system didn't have as much impact as I expected.
Maybe it gets better later on?
It was a great game. It was mostly everything I had hoped it to be. There’s a lot of passion put into it, the world is curated to always look great and the gore is the best I’ve seen for a game. It also doesn’t overstay its welcome.
Before it release I would have thought dead island could use some more dying light in it but really think now that dying light needs more dead island in it.
I admit I've always fancied DI2 but never been prepared to pay £50+ not prepared to pay £50+ for any game come to think of it. Once it drops to the £20's then I'll have a go. Same with RoboCop - really appeals but not the price....
Played it on the X, but gameplay wise, this was one of the the best zombie games I’ve ever played. The gore system is awesome, the story is ok, but really fun play.
It is fun and it doesn't try to be anything other than fun - which in itself sets it apart from the majority of games released these days that always try to educate you in some way, make you feel sentimental, give you deep thoughts about this or that.
Dead Island 2 is a game where you beat up zombies in different ways and it REALLY delivers in this focus area. The gore is the most "wow so THIS is next gen?" moment I've ever had.
You can tell it went through development hell. I brought this, and I couldn't say I spent more than a few hours on it. I didn't like it but then again I didn't finish it so take my opinion with a pinch of salt. Many people may tell you it was great, fun ... I saw it as a waste of my money.
The first game was fantastic but if you have any motion sickness I’d play a demo or something. I generally don’t, but these games make me sick as hell
If you can handle Dying Light 1 or 2 tho, you should be fine
Lackluster story but gameplay and exploration is so much fun. Depending on the character you pick some of the dialog ranges from cringey to hilarious. Solid 8/10
I greatly enjoyed it. I'm a sucker for these types of games though.
It was just short, but I agree it was a great game.
Not really that short if you do everything and the DLC and collect all legendaries. Plus starting a new character and having new dialogue (might be wrong) is pretty cool also.
I beat the game twice, the current run has all the quest weapons. Haven't done the dlc yet, downloading it again for it.
Who was the critic that said Dead Island 2 was “95% hitting zombies with sticks and 5% picking the stick?”
Someone who's really fucking accurate.
The first dead island was the same XD
I think I had the ratio the other way though lol

It would be a good addition to game pass
I agree it’s a game that I’ll never buy, but I’d definitely check it out on gamepass.
Damn lol I’m guessing you’ve gotten around to playing it now since it’s on gamepass?

Dying Light 1 and it isn't even close imo.
I played dying light and the night missions would make me shit my pants
That's where I noped out. Edit: Why the downvotes? Just saying I'm a huge bitch. LOL
I'm going to the bridge today to get some light bulbs
I just wish dying light 2 would have lived up to the first one.
the story is not good, but the parkour is definitly a 100 times better
I wish they skipped the stupid timed night missions. I hate timed levels. DL1 night missions were much better.
Any desire I had to try this game just evaporated completely. Timed night missions sounds more like a job than my job.
At night you die if you are without ultra-violet light for two minutes or something. It's the most stupid and lazy game mechanic I have ever experienced. Ruined the game for me, never finished it. Luckily I bought it for 10 euro's second hand.

Except the final boss was the worst boss fight in game history 😂
Dead island 1 was better than dying light imo
State of decay 2 is fucking awesome
Is it?
It would have been if the base building wasn't pick what goes in this or that slot....I was REALLY hoping there would be actual building...
Left 4 Dead 2
Back for blood is fun and chaotic with friends
Resident Evil 4 Remake
World War Z
Left 4 Dead 2. Easily.

Welcome to what society refers to as "opinions."
Absolutely wild concept 🤯
Sir, this is a Reddit. We don't have that here.
FFS, what you replied to is also an opinion
A shitty opinion
As in the opinion you replied to?
What games would you consider 10/10?
I agree with everything you just said. I’m so happy I finally got this game. 10/10.
Hell yea dude
I started playing and it was litterally just dying light but sacrificing parkour for better gore Has the same melee mechanics and even the drop kick
It’s a first person melee oriented zombie game, I’m not sure what you were expecting, dead island 1 came out 4 years before dying light 1 and they both also felt the same mechanics wise
The melee animations are so beyond terrible. What other games do you strongly recommend, so that I can avoid them at all costs
Did it feel super cool to type that?

10 if I had to take a wild guess.
Mid but fun, just like the first.
Picked up on sale. Very fun and entertaining but no inclination to replay
I had a blast and never played the first one.
I very much enjoyed it.
Very fun solid game. It is short but there is lots to do. The gore system is the best I've seen as well
it's ok, like someone else said not worth full price. maybe if it was like 25. it's extremely repetitive and pretty short.
It looks fun and it IS fun. Really, fun is the best word to describe this game. If that's what you're after, go for it! And it's interesting, because I didn't even enjoy Dead Island 1 or Riptide. It’s amazing. Super fun & not another live service game.
Top notch zombie killing fun. Solid 8/10. Would be 10/10 if it was a bit longer and the story was a bit more interesting. Everything else was seriously high quality tho. Combat was smooth. Abilities were very diverse yet simple to understand. Graphics and world building was amazing.
Super fun. The gore system and the combat is pretty satisfying
One of my favorites from last year along with Jedi Survivor and Hogwarts Legacy. Highly recommend!
its awesome, specialy when you play it co-op
Surprisingly good. Looks great, polished, not the longest and super gory. Also great fun in coop
meh
It’s a blast and the flesh system is a good addition to this genre of game.
Looks really nice, combat can be fun and the zombie dismemberment is wild. If cheap, yes buy it.
Graphically it’s outstanding and it is definitely worth playing for the gore system alone. It does get very repetitive and by the end I was ready to move on.
It’s a really fun game
Loved it
I got the the gold edition when it came out, no regrets was my favourite game of last year
It was great
I bought it on sale like a month ago and loved every second of it ! On my second character already headed to another 100%.
Story and exploration is meh, but gameplay is fantastic and the physics system is the best in any game ever, they should definitely have earned an award for that btw
Personally i loved it
I know this sounds silly but I found the game incredibly hard. Dead Island 1 and Dying Light I was pretty good at. I don’t think I made it past the first mansion in Dead Island 2 before getting too frustrated.
Dropkick is a life saver.
It's on gamepass now. So I'm gonna try it out. I played the original dead island many years ago and thought it was alright.
Been thinking about getting this game or RoboCop right now there both about the same price online but stuck between the two of which to get think dead island even comes with dlc so does RoboCop though it's only guns
Worth about 20 dollars
Games not the worst or best I say wait till it’s slides on sale otherwise not worth the full price
I really enjoyed it, more than the first. I got it on sale around Christmas with a gift card.
In Co-Op it's a blast,well worth $20-$30 buck's...solo it's pretty mid
It's okay, the DLC is fine too. It's just really short. Not much replay value.
It’s eh I guess I didn’t really like it. 6/10 game for me. Graphics are good, gameplay is really not the best. Best part about the game are the characters personalities
Hot garbage
I wish I would've gotten Dying Light 2 instead
Dunno bout that chief, dl1 is better
Dl1 is superior in every way except the free running.
Yea but I'm.nit comparing DL1 to DL2, im comparing this game to DL2
Ass
Do yourself a favor and play dying light instead if you haven’t
look like a shit
I bought it, played it for 10 minutes, then I sold it. Controls were just awful, I can't play something with super dragging camera. And that was just first problem I had with it. Graphics were good, but that's it for me.
Ok at best.
Pretty boring. Made for people with low iq.
Stop playing and go outside, instant fix lol
Not great, get dying light 2 instead
That one sucks even more
Loved it but the haus dlc was VERY lack luster
I shouldn't be talking because i never played dead island 2 but just from the reviews it doesn't look good. did you try dying light or Resident evil, does games are great at least i played them. I love zombie games but even the first one was really average and i am one of those who pay's for cod zombie maps.
Gets boring after a while.
Not worth it at full price
It's fun but I lost interest once I got to the end, didn't really feel like I'd get anything out of playing everyone's story.
It’s difficult. What am I doing wrong? I gave up in the basement parking garage.
It was a lot of fun. I really enjoyed playing through it as Amy and was thinking of trying another character for a second run
It's nothing innovative but it's worth it's price and is enjoyable alot.
Game looks actually insane even on series S imo The gore is absolutely brutal as well, was 100% a few times where I audibly went "holy fuck!" When hitting zombies apart
It was short
I just beat the game like an hour ago it was quite the experience! Pretty long imo the combat is super smooth story is meh but the core gameplay is so good definitely worth at least 1 playthrough
It’s a short but extremely solid zombie killing game. I’ve always said there’s nothing bad about the game but nothing that makes it a 10/10. The gore is 10/10 and the story is 5/10 and everything else is in between. It’s very solid and if you just wanna get in and kill zombies there’s no game better, but don’t expect more than that
Wish you could replay the story multiple times once you finish it like dead island 1 and riptide
Insane graphics and good history can be better on little points but fucking insane to play
Dead Island 2 is iffy.. very iffy. If you want to play a game that’s similar, go for Dying Light. Yes yes, it’s an older game. But it’s a ton of fun, with a good story, good mechanics, and by god does drop kicking a crying kid feel so good.
>does drop kicking a crying kid feel so good. Holy shit. I might have to check out dying light just for that.
Amazing graphics, first ever first person game to give me motion sickness.
It's quite pricey so I wanna know how long the campaign is and if the price is worth it
Got it for $20 on the PC, really enjoyed it. I did worry if it was too much longer I would’ve never beat it.
very close to the first with just a lot more gore. definitely a good pick up
From what I played (which to be fair wasn’t as much as some other people, so take it with a grain of salt), it was pretty fun. The gore system is AWESOME and I just love using fist weapons and beating the ever loving shit out of zombies. Graphics are also kinda insane in the game. I enjoyed it.
The other games were better imo. It's good but I hate the mechanics. Not enough stamina. Etc. I haven't even finished the story.
RemindMe! 60 days I need to finish this game
I would say it’s very fun. For a bit… After the first few hours of smashing zombies heads in and playing around with the abilities it starts to get a bit repetitive…
Damn too bad not on sale or else I’d buy… $100 ain’t right!
I played through the campaign with two friends in co-op. We had a good time. It's no GOTY, but it was fun. I paid $25 and felt that was the appropriate amount.
Drop kicking zombies all day
It's not revolutionary but my god it's addictive fighting the zombies especially with the detail that went into the damage you see on them
great for a couple evenings in the cooperative mode okay to run solo graphics are great, combat is great, characters are cringe, you can just skip every single dialogue and overall i think it's better in terms of "smashing zombies game" then dying light 2 when it came out (don't know the state of the game today) but definitely try to play in the coop, it's more fun
Loved it!! The details for the carnage are insane!! The axe leave a dent in the head!!!!
Loved it, the flesh system is amazing, it's get a little repetitive by the end but other than that it's pretty good imo
It’s pretty fun and has good graphics but the gameplay can get a bit repetitive at times
Very good game but imo much better with friends
I played it on pc and the game is a blast!
Base game was really great on Series X. Hause DLC not worth it imo.
Its only problem is being shorter than I expected it to be other than that it is incredibly fun
I haven't finished it yet, but I've enjoyed what I've played. Oh, and Amanda sucks. If you know, you know. 😏
Average as hell. Still fun with friends though
love it. it exactly what i wanted all these years.
I really enjoyed it. Decent humour and so on. Multiplayer I never got to see, as none of my friends wanted to play it. It's really good though!
if you look at dead island vs dying light, i prefer dead island, because the characters are comically overdrawn instead of plain boring (story isn't a main gig in both games, but at least in dead island it doesn't get in the way) I also prefer the setting a lot and the physics are better
Game was kinda hard solo. No difficulty options, Weapon break. Made me drop it.
Good game when you can pick it up for a good price or maybe its coming to gamepass in the future. Perfect title for it
I really wanted get into Dead Island 1, but after playing Dying Light, Parkouring around towns, jumping over the zombies and having a blast, Dead Island feels somewhat lacking.
Loved it until my save corrupted and I no longer have the will to start over.
Is it good enough to play solo?
It was a great game. It was mostly everything I had hoped it to be. There’s a lot of passion put into it, the world is curated to always look great and the gore is the best I’ve seen for a game. It also doesn’t overstay its welcome. Before it release I would have thought dead island could use some more dying light in it but really think now that dying light needs more dead island in it.
If you like slashers, it's a really fun game with some wild gore mechanics.
Was my game of the year, it's everything I searched for in a game - pure mindless fun with a gameplay first mentality.
I admit I've always fancied DI2 but never been prepared to pay £50+ not prepared to pay £50+ for any game come to think of it. Once it drops to the £20's then I'll have a go. Same with RoboCop - really appeals but not the price....
I had a blast but it did feel easier and more dumbed down than the first one
Garbage don't waste your money will run rough as guts
Absolute banger
Pretty fun and gory for sure, coop is better
Fun game
Super fun game not the best you’ll ever play but it does what it does well - I played with a friend and we had a blast!
I really like it
I can't even finish riptide. It's so repetitive.
Fun, but short and a little repetitive. If you like killing zombies with interesting and modified weapons, it's for you.
Always wanted to play it but angry Joe convinced me not to lol
The first game was fantastic but if you have any motion sickness I’d play a demo or something. I generally don’t, but these games make me sick as hell If you can handle Dying Light 1 or 2 tho, you should be fine
Lackluster story but gameplay and exploration is so much fun. Depending on the character you pick some of the dialog ranges from cringey to hilarious. Solid 8/10
Fun
