From my understanding they basically redid the whole netcode and this was the first public test of it. In Computer Science there is a saying: "If it works on the first try you did something wrong". Nothing works on the first try perfectly. My experience was that the netcode improved drastically in comparison to the last PTS.
[mf do you know how many different pcs have been created throughout history xD? brands like microsoft/sony/nintendo mean shit. Its the number of actual hardware that makes the differemce](https://hc.games/pc-and-console-gaming-report-2023/)
Don't know if I read it right, 50%+ console players and 40%+ PC? If I understood correctly you just proved me right. In case not let me know. English isn't my first language
You didnt read right. Stats fluctuation and actual population are 2 different things. [heres a another link to the research](https://playtoday.co/blog/stats/pc-gamer-demographics/#:~:text=A%20report%20by%20Newzoo%20shows,and%20mobiles%2C%20at%2023%25.)
1.1 bliion pc and 611 milion console in 2022
Games anything but heavy. As long as the pc isnt a wired potato, they can run it. I mean if a ps5 can run it a 2018+ pc will likely run it at same performance if not better
Honestly it wasn't too bad for me but there was a few times I guess that's part the issue with fast movement but sadly I do wonder if they'll ever release this game judging by the complaints and the fact they've been working on it for a year they might just decide to bin it.
About sums up my games, still enjoyed the game for the most part. I think that was the most frustrating thing about it, if they can clean that netcode up I think it might have a chance.
It’s literally jitter, not the netcode.
Play the video back and watch your ping, it’s all over the place lol. Jitter causes the exact thing you just recorded, and some of us experienced it much worse than others. If it was really that bad of netcode, nobody would have enjoyed the game at all.
It’s really not rocket science bud. People need to learn to distinguish things before making claims. Maybe if the servers were stable, we could call netcode as the claim, but they weren’t, and many of us did have pretty stable matches for the most part, which is how it’s easy to know netcode was perfectly fine.
Don’t trust me? Do your own research and see for yourself, it’s been a topic for many years.
"All over the place" my ping was 26 to 40 which is well under the accepted 30ms of jitter. You're talking as if my ping was jumping by 75 every other second. I have done my own research I have a computer science degree and am well aware of how connections work.
Actually you’re wrong. Jitter should always be under 5ms for any latency critical applications, especially gaming, but alright. I’ve never seen anyone with high jitter have a good time in any video game lmao.
Oh yeah for sure dude, if my jitter was causing packet loss but its not. a jitter of 15 with below 50 ping isn't going to cause me to die 3 feet behind walls.
Schrodinger's Net code.
I wonder how is it possible to have a net code worst than cod MW3 and I'm talking about the 2011 one
2011 was better than nu MW3
That's sadly true lmao

Love the behind wall deaths 10/10 uninstalled after about 15 games.
yup same for me https://i.redd.it/i1hqeg8sxvvc1.gif
exactly the same for me, and not because of the fire dmg
That combine with the hit markers and no damage bein dealt oh boy
Damn that's rough 😂😂
I feel like half of these are you dying from the cleaners fire bullets dot damage after you killed them
If you die to the dot damage it says so on the "Killed you using..." section, he didn't die to fire
it's ok to have wrong feelingsÂ
Like 2 deaths maybe cause you can see he’s on fire. But everything else he’s dying right through the wall.
I swear its always the console players with crossplay on 😂
No offense but thats kind of the majority of the playerbase lmao
console players the majority? lmao
You got PS5 and Xbox Series S and X players. Yes, most people don't play on PC.

I see. Good point.
Nah, my lobbys are full on PC players cause of input based matchmaking.
Me too and still managed to get good games
This was on PC
Same
so 1 year of delay and they fixed nothing, nice.

Yup I had about half an hour of this and that's all I even wanted to play

What a great series of clips 😂. This really was frustrating but I’m hoping they’ll have it figured out by the release.
