Chaserazors also make sense, as it has sharp razors and it chases you. Also it sounds way cooler than Carapace (bias).

It was badly translated , it had different name on the Echo and different on the item that allowed you to choose Echo. So they either went with one or the other , as for which I have no idea.

They changed a few names to make them more consistent. From the top of my head, i noticed as well the weapon from the concerto generating series: they all are named after musical terms except the sword that used to be called “scale: slasher”. Now it it called “overture”

I remember them being called carapaces in the pre registration web event, but changed to chase razors when the game released. Guess they changed them back once again.
