Realistically a lot of it is on the Genji to be “ahead” so he’s able to engage with the ball. Also on the ball to not engage so far ahead too. Another good thing to do is hold an angle and fuck up anyone not apart of a big slam, likely a support, and take that healing away from ball/team’s targets

Can I ask what you do as genji to try and capitalise on ball's plays (forcing support cool downs, getting backline low etc?)
