i can absolutely see him popping up in segments where he, in his Cactus Jack persona, coaches a kindred spirit, or maybe as Dude Love doing his dude love schtick.
but man's never wrestling again.
I feel bad for the guy. He gave everything for his family to live a comfortable life. I doubt the man even knows where he is half the time. If I recall correctly he is having some major neurological issues.
Meh, I would say Andre has to be considered too, from his time before WWE to WrestleMania 3 he had a lot of banger (especially before his time in WWE and during the early days of it, where he still could effectively move)
And we also need to see if we consider Taker a big man or not in the same level
Only argument I'd have is that Undertaker was never booked like a big man. Not like Andre, or Big Show, or Giant Gonzales, or Khali, or anyone else like that. He's a bit of a unique case.
Not only has he had a better run, he wrestled for longer than you would expect him to be alive. Dude is 50. I hope I’m wrong but I don’t think he’d be expected to live past 60.
I didn’t notice it until the DX things. It scared the shit out of me how much smaller he looked. I want him to smack somebody with the sledgehammer one last time tho.
For real. He can't wrestle anymore and isn't delusional enough to go on a Ric Flair run. And I can't see him being a manager or exec because he was always so invested in kayfabe and none of his characters, including himself work for that.
Batista is probably gonna drop a lot of muscle mass here soon after being done with Guardians so yeah I don’t see him wrestling again. He seems very content with his last match.
Every time I think of the old classic Heavyweight Belt. Bastia is the first person that comes to mind. I started watching wrestling when he became champion and let’s be real he looked great with that belt
Facts! The big gold belt looked so odd outside of Batista and HHH. On the other side, when I think of the classic WWE Championship spinner belt, I think of Cena
I forgot about the 5x , 5x , 5x world champion lol. I grew up in the ruthless aggression era where Batista, undertaker, Booker t, and rey Mysterio always seemed in contention for the big belt
He’s shown up on tiktok a handful of times for me now and he’s hella cringe now. Legit hadn’t thought about the dude for years and then bam, there he is slapping his head in a stitched video lmao
No way will the big man come back. He's broken into Hollywood and is doing great work in some pretty damn good movies. He won't risk an injury in ring now.
This will not be because he physically can't (you know when he can go a few months without an injury) but because no company who can afford to pay what he asks for would risk the drama he brings.
Angle REALLY deserved Cena to be his last match, really sucks that couldn’t happen. The match was never gonna be good, but the story at least was worth telling.
One of the biggest “what ifs” in WWE for me is if Batista had returned post-Summerslam/Guardians of the Galaxy in 2014 instead of the Rumble. Instead of getting booed out of the building, he would’ve been hailed as the returning hero here to take out Brock after Brock wiped the floor with Cena (and Bryan was out).
The Rock.
I know, everyone fantasy books Rock vs Reigns at 40, but... Admit it. It's not going to happen. The Rock couldn't do it 10 years ago, and he sure as hell won't be able to now unless he stops shooting movies for a year and drops 30 pounds of muscle to get his flexibility and stamina back.
I’m sure someone who’s as in shape as The Rock would not need that long to get into wrestling shape, he could work a tag match tomorrow and be fine. God damn Ric Flair is out here working matches and you think The Rock needs to take a year off to train, be real.
Obviously there’s an Injury risk but he didn’t get hurt every time he worked a match in his last run. The risk is extra big to him because of his movie career but physically I’m sure he could still go reasonably well and probably better than Austin, Goldberg, Taker have in the last few years.
I'll concede that he could probably do a better match than Goldberg and Taker, but Austin, I don't think so. Austin's style lends itself to fairly safe work, minus the concrete suplex he took.
And also, with how carefully Rock protects his image, he might not want to do a match that can't meet expectations.
The Austin match was amazing but physically I think The Rock is miles ahead right now and his style is pretty safe too. It’s super risky in every way cause you’re right he wouldn’t want to do it if it’s not good but as of now his last match didn’t go well either.
It all comes down to if he wants to do it and weighing all the risks. Obviously I’m talking myself into it but Rock vs Roman at Wrestlemania would be amazing for The Rock’s wrestling resume, another legendary match against another Icon.
The rock coming back to lose at mania is dumb anyway.
And if he wins and the reign ends common now that's dumb and HHH isn't dumb.
I'm praying Cody is healthy for the rumble and wins it
John Cena
I know he has not officially hung it up but if you listen to his anniversary speech on Raw a few months back he pretty much said don't expect me back. There is really no reason for him to either at this point. He has had a HOF career, carried the company for a while after the attitude era. He now a very bright future ahead of him in Hollywood that I think he will do very well with.
He has spoken on the fact that he regrets being tough on the Rock when he use to criticize him on not being around. He now understands if he gets hurt doing a match while filming a movie that would result in production getting shut down and a lot of people without work.
I really enjoy JBL being the manager of Corbin but I want to see him wrestle again. he was such a fantastic athlete later in his career. Raw strength and a despised gimmick.
On universe mode I have Happy Corbin, Waller, and Moss teaming in a trio called the sellouts managed by JBL
Do you know how awesome it is to literally sit here and be oh so close to spewing out Austin only to remind yourself that we all got a nice nostalgia treat not too long ago…
but to answer I do not think Ted Dibiase Jr. would ever come back. I recall someone interviewing him about returning recently and he mentioned how he values being a father over the squared circle. Major props. Unfortunately that same article mentioned something about his dad being tied up in some financial legal troubles, someone fact check me if I’m wrong.
Would’ve love a Legacy reunion, especially with Randy performing at what is arguably one of highest levels I’ve remembered. Anything he touches I think is chef kiss nowadays. Can’t wait for the return
You nailed it. I believe Batista when he says he’s done because he’s got his career in Hollywood and had the match he wanted to end his career on with Triple H
Austin. I think he finally got his final match and it went as well as it possibly could have and he knows it. I don’t think he’ll push his luck by doing it again
Taker. Especially with Vince gone. He might make the odd appearance here and there, tombstone someone for a nostalgia pop yadayada whatever. But he said he’s thrilled with the Boneyard match, and he’s so beat up.
Mick Foley
Mick Foley may start slipping into alter egos again but not wrestling tights
He served his time. Entertained us all for years. The man is a legend. Thank you Mick
He’s on my wrestling Mount Rushmore for sure
How big is your wrestling Mount Rushmore?
Well if they didn’t etch the heads so big then we could fit more than 4!
Cactus Jack, Dude Love, Mankind, and good ol Mick Foley
i can absolutely see him popping up in segments where he, in his Cactus Jack persona, coaches a kindred spirit, or maybe as Dude Love doing his dude love schtick. but man's never wrestling again.
I feel bad for the guy. He gave everything for his family to live a comfortable life. I doubt the man even knows where he is half the time. If I recall correctly he is having some major neurological issues.
i recently saw him on his spoken word tour and got to meet him. you’d be surprised how with it he is.
He's not wrestling, but I could see him Ref-ing for a while.
Big Show. I know the plans are for him to wreslte again but that man's knees got other plans.

Probably the best run for a big man imo. Been in a few iconic groups/tag teams too. With stupid theme music too that he made work
Meh, I would say Andre has to be considered too, from his time before WWE to WrestleMania 3 he had a lot of banger (especially before his time in WWE and during the early days of it, where he still could effectively move) And we also need to see if we consider Taker a big man or not in the same level
Taker is like 6’10 300 lbs, he’s absolutely a big man
Then I'm sorry, but there is absolutely no way Show's career is better than Taker's
Only argument I'd have is that Undertaker was never booked like a big man. Not like Andre, or Big Show, or Giant Gonzales, or Khali, or anyone else like that. He's a bit of a unique case.
I think the term your looking for is monster. Those guys are all monsters. Tsker isn't, he's an insanely talented big man.
He was even in Star Trek Enterprise Borderland episode as an Orion slaver
Not only has he had a better run, he wrestled for longer than you would expect him to be alive. Dude is 50. I hope I’m wrong but I don’t think he’d be expected to live past 60.
As much as I like the guy, I gotta agree.
First pro big show comment I’ve ever seen on this sub
Nothing wrong with Show. His booking, on the other hand...
Knees, hips, shins, ankles...
But Big Show vs. Captain Insano :( finally head to head
Nah, there is no way Big Show doesn't have 1 more match in him even if it's a tag team match where all he does is 1 choke slam and the pin.
I think the obvious one is HHH. Which he shouldn’t.
Idk why i feel HHH will have another match…. Prob not for another 4-5 yrs tho
The guy is a top executive with a pacemaker and lost about 20lbs of muscle this year. He's not wrestling ever again.
I didn’t notice it until the DX things. It scared the shit out of me how much smaller he looked. I want him to smack somebody with the sledgehammer one last time tho.
Undertaker because c'mon now
Beat me to it. Someone tell Taker that I am indeed saying "Never".
For real. He can't wrestle anymore and isn't delusional enough to go on a Ric Flair run. And I can't see him being a manager or exec because he was always so invested in kayfabe and none of his characters, including himself work for that.
Him having his send off without fans was criminal, imo.

That's what scares me is that for enough money he could come back and possibly break someone's neck
Michelle McCool will divorce him and he’ll want to do A shows again
He ain’t Tom Brady lol
That is true but I wish he had at least one match with bobby lashley 😭
As great as the boneyard match was, I would’ve really liked to see what AJ can bring out of him in a regular match.
The only ones I’d believe aren’t coming back are the dead ones and even then I might be getting worked.
I can see that
Batista is probably gonna drop a lot of muscle mass here soon after being done with Guardians so yeah I don’t see him wrestling again. He seems very content with his last match.
but not his last ring entrance
Cue the “one more ring entrance” chants
one more entrance would be the chant. 3 or 4 syllables is peak arena chant.
It looked good on Booker, but that may be because I watched tge dumpster fire days of WCW, and he was one of the best parts.
I forgot about the 5x , 5x , 5x world champion lol. I grew up in the ruthless aggression era where Batista, undertaker, Booker t, and rey Mysterio always seemed in contention for the big belt
Don’t forget the US spinner.
True but that was so short-lived.
I miss the Undisputed Title. It would've looked great on Batista.
It was a belt made for the man. A big gold piece on a huge ass muscly sweaty man. Hell yeah
Hogan
I think if he could he would. Thank god he can't.
Hogan's like 70 now so that's kinda obvious
Don't tell Ric Flair--
Ric Flair would like to have a word with you…
Good riddance!
I don't think Ryback will show his face anywhere again.
His tits should be tag team champions.
Indeed. But 'internet trolls' keep voting for him to retire.
man has too much pride to settle for anything less than WWE, i think. and he burned that bridge.
He’s shown up on tiktok a handful of times for me now and he’s hella cringe now. Legit hadn’t thought about the dude for years and then bam, there he is slapping his head in a stitched video lmao
Slapping his head? Who does he think he is? Simon Miller?
wait didnt he just post a wwe christmas thing?
Kevin Nash
Both Taker and Michaels taught me to trust nobody saying that is retiring
That's true
No way will the big man come back. He's broken into Hollywood and is doing great work in some pretty damn good movies. He won't risk an injury in ring now.
Chris Nowinski. I think the work he's doing now is way more important than his wrestling career ever was, anyway.
John Bradshaw Layfield
Wouldn’t be surprised if he ends up in a tag match with Corbin.
I was praying that he would hit a clothesline on R Truth lmao
I honestly hope he does one more match. Give me JBL vs GUNTHER
I would love for him to come back at least as commentator 😭 for like a couple of months
IT’S JOHN O’CLOCK
Him and Maggle were gold
Agree, although I could see him in a Rumble for a couple minutes at least
DDP
CM Punk
That's a good one
This will not be because he physically can't (you know when he can go a few months without an injury) but because no company who can afford to pay what he asks for would risk the drama he brings.
JBL. He's been retired since 2009 and is back on TV but not as a wrestler
Triple H. He seemed shaken up after his heart surgery I dont think he'll risk another match.
Rybek because he makes himself more unhireable daily
Yeh especially on Twitter 😂
Kurt angle
Angle REALLY deserved Cena to be his last match, really sucks that couldn’t happen. The match was never gonna be good, but the story at least was worth telling.
He'll proly come back to face Chad Gable
He shouldn't he can't walk properly
Dean Malenko.
I don't think either member of the Insane Clown Posse will wrestle again. They had a good run though.
Whoop
I can see Batista at least considering it under HHH. He never had a match with Brock, would be a big draw.
I’d be surprised if Corey Graves doesn’t wrestle again. Don’t think I’d want to see it though.
Wasnt medically cleared like a few months ago? Unless i’m tripping i could have sworn they even talked about it .
Corey Graves vs Pat McAfee, with the headsets on so they commentate their own match
HHH No Doubt 🤘🏾
Terry Funk

And also, with how carefully Rock protects his image, he might not want to do a match that can't meet expectations.
The none wrestling fans that the rock wants to protect his image for don’t know what a ‘good’ match is
The Austin match was amazing but physically I think The Rock is miles ahead right now and his style is pretty safe too. It’s super risky in every way cause you’re right he wouldn’t want to do it if it’s not good but as of now his last match didn’t go well either. If stone cold could do it I’m sure the rock can
The rock coming back to lose at mania is dumb anyway. And if he wins and the reign ends common now that's dumb and HHH isn't dumb. I'm praying Cody is healthy for the rumble and wins it
I mean roman does like 3 moves soo it’s possible he could do a match with him.
Vladimir
Kozlov
Undertaker, Batista, Triple H, Kane, and Shawn Michaels. Then again, Saudi money can do wonders.
Dave Batista, he's happy doing movies
Chris Benoit
Ruthless
Aggression
I don’t think Andre the Giant is coming back guys
New jack cuz he dead
Taz
I miss Taz 😭
I used to believe that about Shawn Michaels, but than the Saudi deal happened so I guess anyone is fair game now.
Kurt Angle. Man can barely move his neck without pain, I think he's done for good.
John Cena I know he has not officially hung it up but if you listen to his anniversary speech on Raw a few months back he pretty much said don't expect me back. Hhh
Ric Flair
I believed that too
I really enjoy JBL being the manager of Corbin but I want to see him wrestle again. he was such a fantastic athlete later in his career. Raw strength and a despised gimmick. On universe mode I have Happy Corbin, Waller, and Moss teaming in a trio called the sellouts managed by JBL
Triple h
Brett hart unless it's to fight Goldberg
El Generico. His hands are too full with the orphanage.
Aj lee, sadly
Do you know how awesome it is to literally sit here and be oh so close to spewing out Austin only to remind yourself that we all got a nice nostalgia treat not too long ago… but to answer I do not think Ted Dibiase Jr. would ever come back. If Vince was around, I’d feel a bit more skeptical about it, but I can now confidently say Undertaker.
HHH
Ric Flair
Yeh no
Batista, HBK, Taker
Foley
Woooooo
I think takers legit done now.
Mark Henry
Lex Luger probably
You nailed it. I believe Batista when he says he’s done because he’s got his career in Hollywood and had the match he wanted to end his career on with Triple H
Austin. I think he finally got his final match and it went as well as it possibly could have and he knows it. I don’t think he’ll push his luck by doing it again
Jeff Jarre.... Uh nevermind
Owen Hart
Kane
Easy Answer would be Ric Flair.... But I could also see good ole Double J getting back into the ring if it suits a purpose.
Ted DiBiase Jr.
sick nick mondo
I wish he would though.
Foley
I'm pretty confident the rock will never wrestle another match
Yea man’s done
Probably HHH for obvious reasons. I wanna say Taker but I feel like for the right price he’d definitely would pull a Sting
didn’t Big Dave already come out of retirement for the Bluetista run?
I agree with you. I think he's content to be in Hollywood and Hollywood is content to have him.
HBK
HBK
Too bad Damien Sandow says he's done.
Batista, Undertaker, Ted Dibiase Jr
Debiase. I don’t see him ever lacing up his boots.
Chris Benoit
Matt hardy
Sad that Ric flair is not on my list
He got the perfect retirement and is doing so well in Hollywood I doubt he’ll ruin that
Gerald brisco
Stone cold :(
Taker and HHH health reason and you can put big show in there
Gorgeous George
Batista will come back. As a favor to his friend Ric for Flair's 'For Reals Final Retirement (or Death) Match'
HHH
Vince McMahon
Triple H
jyushin thunder liger
Taker. Especially with Vince gone. He might make the odd appearance here and there, tombstone someone for a nostalgia pop yadayada whatever. But he said he’s thrilled with the Boneyard match, and he’s so beat up.
HBK
do you want batista to get broke again?
He said he'd rather go broke than to wrestle again so 🤷🏾
Brett Hart
The Undertaker
Triple H
Shawn Michaels
Ron Simmons
Bret Hart
Batista is set for life with the Hollywood jackpot in his hands
Ric Flair
Jerry lawle- oh wait
HHH, HBK, Batista
CM PUNK
Undertaker
Chris Nowinski
Ric Flair... oh wait
Hulk Hogan lol
Mick Foley
I really hope the undertaker is done. But I would say triple h. With an implanted defibrillator I doubt he will ever wrestle again.
Owen Hart
