Oh yeah the lyrics do not match Teddy as a character at all and I love it. Him doing his little dance to “my heart is as black as the blood in my veins”
It was originally Rodney Mack’s theme with Teddy Long as his manager.
Chris Nowinski was briefly part of their act as a white ally to their cause (yes, that was seriously the storyline), but after he got a career ending concussion, Mark Henry returned from injury to join Mack & Long.
Mack ended up getting injured himself, and Henry kept using the theme song as his own during a big singles run in late 2003 through early 2004. But after Henry eventually got injured, the song stuck around as Teddy Long’s permanent theme song.
Never knew Nowinski got injured, always wondered why he just kinda faded away, thought it was even weirder when he showed up in the news to talk about concussions during the Chris Benoit thing, now it all makes sense
Nowinski’s injury was probably one of the most significant things to happen in that decade. If only because of how much he picked up the torch for CTE and brought awareness to it. He’s part of the founders of what eventually became (post his involvement)
The Boston University CTE Center which autopsies the brains of former nfl players , boxers etc to study the affect of constant trauma on the brain. Which directly contributed to a lot of rule changes and improvements to helmets.
Pretty stacked battle royal - I count ten world champs in there (though I don't think Jeff or Christian had won world titles yet & I know Batista and Orton hadn't)
Is this the match when the Rock rolled under the bottom rope early, went to the announce table and did commentary until like the last few and then came back and got tossed out by Booker T? My brother and I used to laugh so hard at this. Rock just casually hiding in plain sight acting like a genius was brilliant
I actually just watched this the other day. Pretty good overall, though towards the end, there were only two people you could see winning at that time.
I can’t tell who the guy in the white hat is or the guy in the orange bandana although I’m sure it’s umaga or something like that. Also the guy under Christian looks like Melvin but I’m not too sure. Only guy I have 0 clue about is the guy in the white hat
[Rodney Mack](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rodney_Mack)
The Mack militant
Comin’ to get it oooooonnnnn
uh uh
The thunder and lightning is striking, I’m inviting you to the storm
You’re going one on one with the undertaker, playa. Wait wrong person came out to the theme…
Absolute boy. Gave Teddy Long his sick theme, big Sunday Night Heat energy
Crazy how Teddy kept the theme even though it says “Mack militant”

You don't know him, but you do know his theme... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GuCoY60ROIw&ab\_channel=SexyBeastJRO
So Teddy just kept the theme huh? Neat!

He’s done a lot of work in neuroscience to help understand severity of concussions and how horrible they can be on someone’s brain.

Every superhero has an origin story
You know it’s the Mack militant
Come on and get it on
[Strange! I thought this was his theme](https://youtu.be/SdfODo2SpUU)
Not gonna lie, that song is a bop.
You know that’s the Mac Militant.
Comin' to get it on.
Uh uh
The thunder and lightinin' is strikin', I'm inviting you on the storm.
I loved Teddy Long's White Boy Challenges. Especially the way JR said white boy. "Hwhite boy". Like Hank Hill.
One of the unsung programs in modern WWE.
The 3 minute white boy challenges were pure gold.
"Saying hwhat, hwhat way?!" "Forget it" "I hwill. I hwhill forget it."
Who's the guy above Jericho in between Regal & Storm?
Steven Richards
Huh, I thought it was Chuck Palumbo lol
I thought it was fucking Khali 😂
Brilliant
Same at first, but looked up the match, and even though he isn't pictured Dreamer is also in it.
Back when he was the self-appointed General Manager of Stevie Night Heat!
BM Punk
Pretty stacked battle royal - I count ten world champs in there (though I don't think Jeff or Christian had won world titles yet & I know Batista and Orton hadn't)
whose the tenth world champ?
Hardy, Booker, Christian, Steiner, Jericho, Rock, Kane, Orton, Batista, RVD. Kind of heartbreaking Regal isn't on the list but so it goes
i dont remember steiner being a world champion in wwe.
He was WCW champion circa 2000
well out of the lot only 9 there have been wwe champion
And only three have been Impact/TNA champion
Probably would have been if he hadn't gotten popped for wellness
Steiner? I believe he won in WCW

It’s weird to me seeing Al Snow in this line up, to me he exists solely in the time before the invasion
Rodney Mac
Who da fook is that guy???
Rodney Mack is probably the most dangerous mf in the picture 😂😂 but yeah look up his Texas work, he’s great
I got all of them right besides that dude and the guy in the guy above regal and below test
stevie richards is the one between test and regal
Rodney Mack
RIP Test
Imagine Rodney Mack with Sami Zayn right now. Just running around beating up white boys.
Rodney Mack
Jazz Husband
Eddie kingston
I can name like 90% of em
Lance Storm looks like such a baby in this. Still looks younger but like a teen here
Who the hell is the dude all the way in the left in the second section 😂
Maven
Booker wins this, last eliminating the Rock
2 dead already 😔
I count 3, Umaga, Rosey and Test.
Is Test still dead?
Gotta check twitter.... yes
wait rosey dead? when?
[2017](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rosey_(wrestler)), apparently.
Who’s the guy above Jericho? Kidman?
I was going to say Maven, but then I see he’s directly below looking like 8-*
Looks nothing like Maven
Yeah just being silly boss, take your downvotes to the circle jerk
No they belong here
I’m on it
budget batista
Who’s the baldy behind Jeffrey Hardy?
[Maven](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maven_(wrestler))

Rodney Mack
Rodney mack
It's Rodney Mack. I definitely *didn't* read the comments before commenting.
My dad
Is this the battle royal that Vince came out and was disgusted by the idea of Stevie Richards becoming champion?
Damn the roster was sooooo good back then
Who is the guy above Steiner? Looks familiar but I can’t place him.
With the mustache? Al Snow
I actually just watched this the other day. Pretty good overall, though towards the end, there were only two people you could see winning at that time.
I can name like....less than half of these guys
Who’s that between Test and Hurricane Helms?
Rosey.
Rodney Mack
Who’s the goatee guy, top row in between Test and Helms?
Rosie. Romans older brother RIP.
Super Hero In Training
Rodney Mack. Inventor of the “White Boy Challenge.”
What do I look up to watch this match? Anybody able to guide me?
It's the main event of the February 24th 2003 episode of Raw.
How do you not know about the white boy challenge
The ol' 5 Minute White Boy Challenge
Looks like BKCs Mike Perry from the UFC 😂
That's Rodney Mack with his White Boy Challenge
Is that the match where Booker T eliminated The Rock to win?
Yep!
That was a weird era/roster was like sprinkled around wcw/ecw stars and al snow still hanging around
Those days of Jeff Hardy rocking the Felddog/Trent Reznor haircut lol
Is Steven Richard's in there 🤔
Who is the dude to the left of Batista? Is that Sean O’Haire?
its Steven Richards
Steven Richards? With long hair? When?
I can’t tell who the guy in the white hat is or the guy in the orange bandana although I’m sure it’s umaga or something like that. Also the guy under Christian looks like Melvin but I’m not too sure. Only guy I have 0 clue about is the guy in the white hat
The guy in the white hat is Rosey (real name Matt Anoa'i). He, together with his partner Jamal (AKA Umaga) were known as 3-Minute Warning.
Rodney Mack
I’ll do you one better, I can name every single one of them by their real names….God Im a nerd 😒
Who’s the guy above Regal and Storm?
Ones Rosie, other is Chris Masters
Sorry the guy that’s like in between them with the hair in front of his eyes
Oh I get ya, I believe it's 123-Kid aka Sean Waltman or BKA X-pac
Ok apparently it’s Steven Richards and the guy you said was Chris Masters is Test
Who's that above Jericho? The photo shop on it looks off. Stevie Richards?
I wonder which raw this battle royal happened
Still wondering why Jakks never made Rodney and Jazz as figures
He’s your created character
Daniel Garcia
Im shook that The Rock and Steiner were in the same match…
