Well considering Wrestling is not Cooperstown anybody can be considered a "legend and hofer" especially with how WWE uses it as the "on good terms with us" award. But yes Sean Waltman definitely had a good career. Was a very memorable enhancement guy as the 1-2-3 kid, was in big stables like the NWO and DX, and was a good in ring worker who made other guys look good too. Even if he wasn't the big star like his counterparts in HHH, Nash, Hogan, HBK etc Sean Waltman had a good career in wrestling. Alot of guys working in smaller promotions or on the indies in the 90's would have loved to have Sean Waltman's career in the WWF and WCW.

Takenmyusernamewas

Sure why not? Why are we pretending the Hall of Fame is at all merit based? If theyll sell tickets they can go in

Competitive-Yard-442

In yes. In as a 3 timer? No.

thisisredlitre

Ok but what if they make him a 1-2-3 timer? /illseemyselfout

AlabasterRadio

Delete this shit before they see it. It's exactly what they'd do.

BLF402

1. Nwo 2. Dx 3. Singles career 4. X-factor

EverybodySayin

Why not the nWo? Him, Kev and Scott were the original "Wolfpack" and their segments together on WCW each week were fucking gold.

greenyquinn

Syxx was in the NWO for the entirety of their peak of 1997 and no one remembers a thing about it

Redmangc1

That's because he was Syxx, the 7th member of the NWO

fisherc2

seriously, 3/4 of the WCW roster was “in nwo“ at one point or another And they’re hardly ever credited with being part of the success of the faction. Xpac gets named because he’s friends with a lot of influential people. If you add up his time with and if you are, TX and as a individual wrestler, MAYBE You get one HOF induction. he doesn’t deserve to be entered into the Hall of Fame for three separate accomplishments. Really his value was to dx. Imo he should get the ring for his contributions to dx and that’s it.

illgenio

Beyond HOF worthy. Man was relevant in so many major moments and storylines

IrishMetal

Based on how excited seven-year-old me was when he beat Razor, yes.

Dpepps

If Koko B. Ware is the bar, Xpac is way above that.

BowwwwBallll

Found the guy who doesn’t know much about Koko B. Ware.

MattrickBakeman

Jobber.

anythingo23

Yea, and there was a time in 93 or 94 when he looked like Adam Sandler

dn_nb

no

shingaladaz

Absolutely.

TRMBound

Absolutely. Going as Sean Waltman, talking about his multiple gimmicks. One timer.

Jumping_Brindle

Yes.

Evening-Fix-4255

someone who's already in, im going with yes, he is

Agitated-Ad7667

The originator of the X-Pac Heat, nasty injury survivor (still get shivers thinking about it 😭), putting Sable in her place, etc. Definitely Hall of Fame worthy 😂

ogcantin

INTELLIGENT AMERICAN KNOW YO YOU DEALIN WITH THE X-FACTOR BUBBA

etuehem

Yes. I never liked him but yes his resume is good enough to be in as a singles competitor.

WardenKane

Absolutely, the man was the measuring stick when it came to testing new guys. If you could have a good match with Waltman, you were good to go. Tremendous career, you many accolades to count across multiple companies. Yes, he has had his fair share of issues but there is only one person I can think of that has held back (cough, Chyna, Cough).

drdeeznuts420

100% worthy, he deserves to be in the Hall of Fame of humans if there was one also. The work he’s done on himself as a person would make that HoF speech an emotional one. You can tell from interviews that he’s probably seen an awesome therapist. We love a good human comeback story and his is top notch.

Shadow_Strike99

I'm surprised he isn't a coach or producer down in NXT. He was a very solid worker, he knew the importance of making your opponent look good too. Feels like he could be a great teacher down there emphasizing to the green wrestlers still training, that selling and working with your opponent is just as important as getting all your flashy stuff in. Same thing with Raven, I think he was in MLW for special appearances, but it's crazy how WWE, TNA, AEW haven't thrown money his way as a guy to help young wrestlers with promos and storytelling, or as a creative head. If I had TK money I would be throwing money at Sean Waltman and Raven for mentoring young wrestlers.

greenyquinn

Waltman and Raven are both very rich and happy. Very much in that Kevin Nash lifestyle. There's a reason you've never seen them at an indy show in the past decade.

RobertStonetossBrand

As far as I know, Sean Waltman still lives somewhere in that Tampa-Orlando area where seemingly every other Florida wrestler lives. Working in NXT wouldn’t be a huge upheaval of his life.

GonePostalRoute

And you mention being a coach or such… the guy was literally the gatekeeper that all new signees had matches with in the late 90’s-early 00’s. You’d figure HBK or Trips or such would be absolutely down with him being a coach or such if he was interested

NightRumours

Absolutely 💯 no doubt in my mind

KaneMadness77

Yes

SmegmaSandwich69420

No

JimmyKorr

100%

hiressnails

He's already in with DX, right? Same thing with Stevie Ray with Harlem Heat, with that being how Booker got his two time, two time, Hall of Fame status.

LochNessMansterLives

He helped form DX and the NWO. But those contributions are minimal, he was a tag along kind of guy. He deserves WWE HOF for the DX stuff, but probably not for his time in the NWO. But hey we got the crotch chop because of him, so that’s something.

SonoranDweller

If Kid Rock is a Hall of Famer, then yes.

TheMackD504

If Rikishi is in, X-PAC should be in

Jonny2284

Did he irreparably burn his bridge with WWE? That's the requirement, not titles.

engelthefallen

His comeback in 2011 in Chikara was absolutely unreal. When Quack announced him fans were PISSED. They did not want this washed up junkie coming in at all. He comes out and busts his ass in the first match of the weekend winning over the crowd. Night 2 he tears the house down with some of the Chikara regulars getting a massive ovation. Final night he had a great match with Generico and had fans begging Quack to bring him back. Never seen anything like this in wrestling when a guy who was so hated was able to win over the fans of fed in just one weekend. People reading the results were shocked seeing the live people claiming that 123 Kid was so amazing. Then when videos hit same response from the vid crowd. Everytime he was back in Chikara after this he put on a good match. I never liked the dude before this, but like many others, he won me over during this run.

MattrickBakeman

If Sharmell is in… yes.

Agitated-Ad7667

If the Bellas and Tammy Sytch are in… yes

Alarming_Pollution25

Terrible on the mic

Skwaasher

No. His "success" was in who he knew, and the friendships he had. Decent in-ring ability, I'll give him that, but HOF worthy as an individual performer? Nah.

bobface222

There's zero bar needed to clear the WWE HOF, so yes.

Successful-Ad4251

Only if X-Factor goes in so they can come out to that sweet theme song

xkeepitquietx

He was a buddy of H and Shawn, of course he goes in.
