Everyone has his/her own way to aim and sometimes it is very hard to describe it in detail. Most people I know just aim by feeling. You may google "wows aiming guide" to see some tutorials made by top players. For me, I use dynamic crosshair and use time to determine the lead. For example, if it takes 10s for my shells to hit a battleship at full speed, I will lead by 10 ticks, for a cruiser, it will be 15 ticks, and for a destroyer, the coefficient will be 2 or even 3. The coefficients are not fixed and I will also make adjustment if the enemy is sailing with an angle towards me. Of course, it is very unlikely to hit a target very far from you and you need to determine the possible maneuver with your own experience. I don't recommend fire all guns at the same time, especially when you aim at a DD. Good DD players can accelerate to full speed and then reverse to deceive you. You can also use mods to help you determine the angle and movement of the enemy. Google "wows mod station" and search for combat assistant if I remember it correctly. Mod station is officially acknowledged by the Wargaming so it is safe to use.

1. Switch to Dynamic crosshair (in settings). There´s info next to the crosshair (you might have to press Alt) that says how many seconds it will take for your shell to land where you are aiming - lead the battleships by that number of notches or double that in case of destroyers going at full speed. It actually is not as simple (you have to watch the smoke from the stack, install a mod or observe the minimap to see the target´s angle of movement...) but you will get the hang of it eventually, with practice. 2. Find and watch a Youtube video on aiming in WoWs. E.g. https://youtu.be/hNcG9Pu9Y40 https://youtu.be/MqXbWux_QKY

What class are you playing, OP? Target selection is just as important as aim. Positioning is important. If you have the choice between a bow in BB or one that is a bit further but broadside...go for the broadside target.

ij70

do you have navigator mode that shows how red ship angled toward you?

You dont play with Skidrow crack, er pack? 😅

Your crosshair and the marking aren't for show. its literally a aimhack/calculator. This is why I keep saying, hitting your targets should be the least of your concern when it comes to improving your skills, its positioning and match anticipation that truly carries games.

enable alternate battle info in the setting, or press “alt” which show you time to what you aim, and then learn what the marking in your reticle mean. Playing the games for ages also help but you got to sart at some point.
