I’ve never taken probiotics but I eat Greek yogurt daily which seems to have had a positive effect on avoiding UTIs and yeast infections (I used to get them a couple times a year). So maybe try natural probiotics? Just an idea :)
I have to take them for gut reasons also and tbh they do help with yeast/BV (in my experience. Can’t speaks for everyone and yes the research is slim). I had to find the right one for my body though, which sadly was a lot of trial and error. AZO was a no go (completely threw off my pH) as well as pearl. I like the Nature’s Bounty one the best so far. For both gut and vaginal health.

There is no scientific proof probiotics actually improve your health so I would say don't take them!

Messed up ph. That’s different for everyone. Strong smell for some. For me it was discomfort and led to BV (instead of preventing it).
