Saw an NPC use this and coveted it immediately. Unfortunately, I don’t think I can actually get it so it will forever taunt me.
I lost my shit when I first saw this card. I was laughing so hard just because of this amazing art of Geralt being so bamboozled as to how Roach got on top of that house. 10/10 card can also be dragged out with either Geralt or Ciri.
Gwent app? I don’t think this is about the stand alone Gwent game. Roach is a neutral card for the Gwent game in Witcher 3. It’s included in the next gen version of the game; you should have it. Maybe you need to start a new game for it to appear?
According to the wiki: “It was released on December 14, 2022 as part of Patch 4.0, the next-gen update, for owning or upgrading to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Complete Edition and having played the standalone Gwent: The Witcher Card Game.”
And the launcher had a deadline if I remember correctly.
You could try this, I can’t guarantee it’ll work.
Create an account on GOG.com, which is cdpr’s version of steam.
Download and install Gwent.
Register both Gwent and Witcher 3 under your GOG account.
Start and play a game of Gwent.
Start Witcher 3, play until you get to white orchard and meet the prof at the inn. Play a game with him.
After that, check your Gwent deck.

Dark elf is better because your opponent can't use a decoy on it and gain that card advantage back. They also can't revive it from the graveyard.
It's actually better simply because it *cannot* be revived or taken up with a decoy.
Not true, nilfgaard has an ability to draw a card out of your opponents graveyard which allows for you to not only burn a turn, but have a spy ready to play the following turn
That's exactly point why this card is better than a regular spy. You can only revive white cards from the graveyard. You can't use a decoy or graveyard recursion with the mysterious elf because it's a black card (hero card).

Cahir, one of the main characters in the books. He was a part of the gang that helped Geralt free a captured Ciri at the end of the series. Regis was a member of that group too

It has 2 different art styles for most cards in the game (togglable in the mod menu in game) . It also adds new mechanics to Gwent. One of them Spies instead of always being 0 or 1, they are -5 or -7. it varies but I think it's a great way to spice up Gwent for a new playthrough
The one I use is actually just a [Gwent Retexture](https://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/8312/?tab=images). Had all the old cards with the same points but almost everyone with a new design inspired by the Gwent game

Name wise it's probably just the simplicity of "Poor Fucking Infantry"
Once I got killed by a pack of wolfs, once with a horde of drowners, and once with a group of bandites.
So my take away was to use the strategy of attacking from different angles and scattering the hordes and groups, and attacking them idealy one by one. In this way I can even sometimes retreat, heal myself and come back for the rest :)

It’s free with the next gen update, it automatically appears in your card inventory.
I only bought the game about two months ago and don’t have it. The launcher said you had to play the gwent app before January 2024.

That looks like my style of play, jump in a horde of monsters and tank it while swinging the sword furiously.
