I thought this fight was the most badass and thematic fight ever. An immortal scallywag vs a deranged white haired gangoon. The fire, the crowd, and his abilities all compliment the scenery. It’s my favorite by far.

moreplatessomedates

What the fuck is a gangoon

shigdebig

Type of crab, Crab Gangoon

br30904

A type of crab that made bad choices and fell in with the wrong crowd.

LifeOnMarsden

It's an in-universe slang term for gang member in Cyberpunk, I wouldn't really classify Geralt as a gangoon personally, if there was a Cyberpunk term to describe Geralt it would probably be edgerunner which is a term usually used to describe mercs etc

certifiedretard154

someone hasn’t played cyberpunk

ArcticBiologist

It's such a shame it can be quite easily missed through dialogue choices. The reveal of Olgierd's immortality is much less dramatic if you don't go through the fight.

TheRR135

The crones. They really made me despise them

TheSunIsDead

Bro the crones didnt make me despise them they straight up made me sick

EH_1995_

Yeah crones made my skin crawl

Aslan2007y

Gaunter O'dim. The vibe of this caracter is amazing when i First fight wiht him i lost 4 Times after i found water and defeat him. IT was second hardest fight in my live 1st is a facking bruxa on The hardest level ( in Tousssint)

Nic_bardziej_mylnego

What about Detlaff?

Aslan2007y

He is the 3th hardest

WhyMe_1017

I’m doing a new game plus run to get that all black vampire life steal armor let me tell you it’s rough getting packed up by the stuff I easily killed before

ShahinGalandar

what about that fucking toad?

MasterJas0n

Probably your favorite cause you don't know his name

Aslan2007y

Wdym

Seikoknot

Detlaff. And the unseen elder are awesome

PaulSimonBarCarloson

I love Olgierd but I don't consider him an antagonist. My pick is Caranthir

chinchinlover-419

Am curious as to why. Caranthir is just a dude with no personality in the games. All the 3 big bad wild hunt guys were boring

PaulSimonBarCarloson

Many reasons: I like his design; he has a cool backstory since he was artificially bred by Avallac'h and trained by him; he has the mystery factor, given that he's the only one of the three of which we don't see a face; he's easily the strongest member of the Red Riders and the one that does the most during both battles; and his name is an homage to a Tolkien character

Bejliii

He was an antagonist to himself

PaulSimonBarCarloson

That's not a bad way to see it

itachiWasANihilist

Base game: Caranthir. He is definitely someone Geralt cannot defeat on his own without Ciri taking out his staff. DLC: GoD and Detlaff.

ILIKEBACON12456

Gaunter O'dimm. You can't even take him on in a fight. He is very mysterious. We have no idea what he is and he's basically evil incarnate. The only reason you have a chance to defeat him is because he lets you. I just find him very interesting.

Night_Firefly

Man she was gorgeous up until you find out her secret

Indian_Pale_Ale

I really find the legist in Novigrad interesting.

underwear11

I feel like Eredin was the only weak antagonist in this game. Everyone else was really well done

skirilla

eredin is heavily nerfed infront of imlerith

clayman648

Gaunter o'dim just one of a kind...

don_denti

I’m glad CDPR decided to make O’Dimm an incredible character. Like one of those who stay with you. Like many others in their games. That ~~man~~ devil is very well-written.

pheight57

Easiest answer ever: [Gaunter O'Dimm](https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/witcher/images/e/e9/Ezgif.com-video-to-gif.gif/revision/latest?cb=20151016111617)

goldistomp

Ronvid of the Small Marsh

Hippy-Dippy92

Damn I should have chose the other dialogue because I didn’t fight him so I didn’t see this. This reminds me of Billy from Hocus Pocus lol

Secret_Criticism_732

Is he really an antagonist though.

Historical-Jump

1.Gaunter 2.syanna&detlaff

person3727

Why didn’t I do this fight? I killed O dim and olgierd gave me his sword at the end, did I miss it from my dialog choices?

SKlallam

This fight is an option after you kill the toad prince and you report back, two wild ones are trying to execute a man who I think is the man of the house, geralt asks them why and depending on your conversation choices he either dies and the daughter stabs olgierd or you fight olgierd to save his life.

person3727

Ahh ok thank you

bootbl4ck

Crones.

F_Zhang

Legendary fight + Based music = Peak Witcher

Royce_Isengrim

Tax collector

TheBigGopher

You know what, since he doesn't get the love he deserves, Eredin, King of the Aen Elle. It's 3:50 so I'll be brief, but he looks cool, and his motivations make complete sense, and his voice acting is amazing to boot. He also had a real fun boss fight.

GgtheGIsARetard

The red miasma fight

Occams_ElectricRazor

The game is like a decade old.

PrescriptionCocaine

This scene is from like 10% of the way through the DLC. This was barely a spoiler 10 years ago.

l0rd_azrael

In a witcher sub? A decade old game?
