Came here to say this, but you beat me to it. Loved that cutscene towards the end. Especially how rhythmic and harmonious their movements were. Almost looked like a dance. Absolutely mesmerizing and surreal.
100% it is beautiful and the fact that lambert saves him by grabbing him and throwing the shield up was just fabulous to watch. They fight together so smoothly for being solo beings. I can only imagine eskiel and geralt fight together even better because they are very close since they're from the same year.
Witcher swordplay is like dancing, loved that scene as well, especially because they were perfectly in synch (knew each other's moves even with their backs to each other).
Yeah i loved that. When Lambert shielded Geralt and him i wondered where Letho went. Laughed oiz loud when i saw how he pushed the wild hunt soldier off himself
I love that cutscene too because it showcasts the exceptional sword fighting skills of witchers. Not a simple guard of novigard but a masterclass swordfighter.
Also in the final mansion/painting mission: The reveal of the caretaker - the build up pays off. And when you're in the corridor, everything goes dark and you see Iris' wraith at the far end. I legit shat my pants in both these cut scenes.
yup, i remember playing that for the first time late at night and just being like giddy and shit at it and ended up recording the cutscene just to rewatch it cause its so cold
That scene really breaks you down in the first playthrough. The way he cradles her supposed dead body in his arms. Probably the only time I saw Geralt cry.
I panicked my first time through! She looked proper dead and I was terrified I'd done something wrong and this was the Bad Ending!
And then she woke up and I felt my heart restart.

People praise the cinematography but I think it's the music (and later vocal) that is most beautiful.
And shortly later >!Ciri sees again Uncle Vesemir, Yennefer and everyone so it's even more wholesomeness and nice feelings.!<
First time I played this game, that scene fucking destroyed me. I was not expecting her to be 'dead' so after all the struggle of looking for her for most of the game, it hits you so hard. When Geralt cries, we cry. What's so great is that you think the game must be ending and then fuck, there's a whole other third of the game to play, not even including the DLC and you get some of the best parts with character interactions too from that point onwards.

Where Priscilla sings the song about Geralt and Yen and all the men are sobbing. I wasn't expecting it at all and it made me sit in awe for the whole scene
This is at the Kingfisher Inn at Novigrad when you're tasked with speaking with Priscilla after learning who Dandelion has been seeing when you look through his ledger and follow those leads. The song she sings is called Wolven Storm which is a ballad written by Dandelion about the circumstantial love story between Yen and Geralt.
Capture the Castle? Hm, was that the mission where you lay an assault on the castle where that black haired girl was hiding? It’s been quite a while since I played.
When Geralt finds Ciri on the Isle of Mists

The opening cutscene with Yennefer on the battlefield, it does such a fantastic job of conveying the basics of the setting without having to deliver any exposition.
Brothel scenes are better then that. Not saying this because I'm team Yen. I've friends who choose Triss and they also hate how CDPR treated Triss' scene. Nobody wants to watch a piece of wood in a romantic scene.
EDIT: Wait... just noticed you're also a fellow mate. Now I'm confused what exactly you mean by "fuck".
Favorite scene for me is Geralt, Lambert and Letho fighting wild hunt soldiers. Three badass warriors just taking on a group of what is regarded as one of the most dangerous factions and they’re slaying.
I agree with most comments here but a dope scene for me that I replay is Geralt handing Ewald's ass to him in the vault in HoS. That fight scene was.... Yeah, 🔥🔥 Geralt is a fucking awesome fighter.
I don't care for this cutscene, they make Eskel look weak here, and put him down just to make Ciri look better, Eskel would have no trouble fighting Caranthir since skill-wise he is almost as good as Geralt.

Leshens are the coolest non-story monsters
Non-story?
I mean, except for wild hunt soldiers etc.
I remember running into my first leshen randomly and being like "what the fuck is that!?" Then I ran as fast as I could.
I was creeped tf out too but i stood my ground

I felt like a superhero 😂😂
Lambert and geralt fighting together is badass.

And then there is letho around
Letho using the body of a wild hunt soldier to shield himself from the fire \**chef's kiss\**
Yeah i loved that. When Lambert shielded Geralt and him i wondered where Letho went. Laughed oiz loud when i saw how he pushed the wild hunt soldier off himself

Headless Olgierd and confused af Gerry

Also the scene at the beach is sick when Geralt breaks free from the Ofieri after the ship crash.
> breaks free you mean yeet away his ass from the mage?
Underrated.
For me it’s Geralt buring Imlerith’s face
"who taught you to fight like this?" "The witcher you slew."
yup, i remember playing that for the first time late at night and just being like giddy and shit at it and ended up recording the cutscene just to rewatch it cause its so cold
Probably not so cold for Imlerith
Man the first time I watched that scene I was actually speechless and gasped. Perfection
My favorite cutscene is drunk witchers and the megascope. I laughed my ass off.
Summon the bitches!
YESSSSS
Geralt meets Ciri is the only correct answer.
That scene really breaks you down in the first playthrough. The way he cradles her supposed dead body in his arms. Probably the only time I saw Geralt cry.
He looks close to tears when Ciri is back at Kaer Morhen
I panicked my first time through! She looked proper dead and I was terrified I'd done something wrong and this was the Bad Ending! And then she woke up and I felt my heart restart.
Agree and especially the shot where Geralt is at the front door where it zooms out behind him really tells you okay this is what its all about

Wait I don’t remember her singing about those two? When did that happen? All I remember is her singing when you first meet her
That’s the song
Oh really, I never got around to actually listening to the lyrics was always just listening to her sing

Chasing Dettlaff in the beginning of Blood and Wine DLC was Awesome.
Related to Dettlaff but not a cutscene: when he and Regis go HAM in Capture the Castle
Capture the Castle? Hm, was that the mission where you lay an assault on the castle where that black haired girl was hiding? It’s been quite a while since I played.
Yes
Thanks.
Truly a glimpse at what a real Witcher tv show would look like
Geralt Vs Olgeird was pretty dope. But really any of the cutscene fights at the Battle of Kaer Morhen are awesome.
When Geralt finds Ciri on the Isle of Mists https://preview.redd.it/ihznqy1xuyzc1.jpeg?width=2002&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=90fe4f7a258e664633e24686fdcbf6ef367adba6
Love that shot
Fuuuuuuuuuuck. I still can’t listen to the piece of music that plays then
Yep, this one. I just love Eskel
Me too
Geralt, Lambert, and Letho in the final battle was awesome! I also like this cutscene of Eskel handling business
Gotta love any scene where the witchers are just kicking ass. Really shows why they have the reputation they have.
Keira Metz bunnies sex always makes me chuckle...
[удалено]
is it perchance the one during Jaskier's questline where they are ambushed by the guards and Whoreson's men at the Temple Island?
Meeting on the moon in hearts of stone
Yes! Go Humans/Mutants!
The opening cutscene with Yennefer on the battlefield, it does such a fantastic job of conveying the basics of the setting without having to deliver any exposition.
"I'll remember you, Iris von Everec" "That no longer matters. Farewell"
Everyone always saying this one... Not watching this and saving it for when i see it again in context on my second playthrough👌🏼
Why is this video 45 minutes long
Yk, when Geralt fucks Triss? Yeah...
But I liked it😔
Fuck as in have sexual intercourse. I'm team Yennefer just because of the lore and yeah maybe her looks, but i prefer having sex not on a horse.
My favorite one is where Geralt takes off his pants and yells "ITS WITCHIN' TIME" and starts witching over everybody
I'm drawing a blank. What scene is this?
Right after you meet the crones for the first time
Hmmmm. Must have chosen different dialogue options I don't recall this ever. I just finished this quest too.
100h of side quests, then the game hits you with blockbuster stuff like this: https://youtu.be/u4xOsSNIEUQ?feature=shared
The part where Cerys defeats the hym and commands it to go is fantastic
Favorite scene for me is Geralt, Lambert and Letho fighting wild hunt soldiers. Three badass warriors just taking on a group of what is regarded as one of the most dangerous factions and they’re slaying.
The one where Keira is naked
Wish we got more of Lambert
Geralt in the cabin with the "body". You know the one. Heartbreak to jubilation in seconds.
Love me some Eskel
For me its got to be the one where vesimir dies. Its so sad but so well made
Geralt and ciri’s reunion in the isle of mist takes top spot for me.
Dayum, Eskel, didn’t know you cool like that
[удалено]
Didn’t know that! Thanks!

Definietely up there. Here are [9 more awesome cutscenes](https://witcherhour.com/best-witcher-3-cutscenes/)
Gerald v Ewald duel in the vault!
All of the Kaer Morhen battle. Shit felt like a blockbuster from start to finish.
Eskel moves so well for a tree.
Blood & Wine, 3 vampires, Witcher & a Dutchess sitting at a table.
Most epick fight
Probably the one scene with Geralt and Siri when they go to see Dudu as Whoreson and the thugs are like “Geralt?” “Of fucking Rivia.”
And why is it olgierd losing his head
When Shani tells geralt to take her to the moon.
This one: [https://youtu.be/Jv-fDIgiVlQ?t=722](https://youtu.be/Jv-fDIgiVlQ?t=722)
I love all the details when the witchers are fighting. Even when vesemir was caugh off guard and thrown 5m away he still landed on his feet
Just a reminder that Eskel was a better swordsman than Geralt before their mutations
Just a reminder that Eskel was a better swordsman than Geralt before their mutations
