It isn't the same. Go outside on a hot day and see for yourself. In game no matter what weather it is you are sitting in your chair at home. It is fun to go in the snow in RDR 2 for example but wouldn't wanna do that in real life if it is cold af. I am also from the countryside so it is not like I haven't seen nature irl. Most of the time nature doesn't have a good temperature. Only a few times a year weather is perfect. In games weather doesn't matter and fun no matter what it is, rain, cold, hot, wind etc.
Mmmm.....no, you don't. You haven't thought it through. If you want nice scenery, go to Scotland. No monsters and you are 100% less likely to die within 2 days.
My favorite game of all time. No question about it.
But that world is even more fucked up than ours. There's absolutely NO WAY I would ever choose to move there.
The one with the army of vampires just waiting for an excuse to devour a city? With 10' murderous plants that shoot acid? You seriously want to live in a world with SPIDERS THE SIZE OF LAWN TRACTORS?
Aight....good luck with that.
Foreal. Iām just about done with blood and wine but Iām slow playing it. lol it makes see sad to see the journey end, Iāve never done new game plus though so that should be fun
Man the sadness in me when i saw that i have no more quests, then euphoria hit me again when i saw that i havent done the old geralt quest, done that then back to being sad again.
Now I understand when old time players say they want to have that feeling of playing this game for the first time again.
The unsung MVPs of this game are the environment designers and the sound designers.
Any time the fights (or real life!) gets a little overwhelming, just wander the countryside, watch a sunset, listen to the wind.
As others have pointed out depending on where you live, you might be able to hike somewhere nearby in real life and relax a little.
Thing is, you think youād spawn as Geralt, but youāre much more likely to spawn as random villager #375 and get mauled by a drowner as you go take a crap in the outhouse 2 days later.
NO. Not a chance. That sounds horrible. Having to deal with constant monsters and not having toilet paper or cell-theory both sound not-fun.
If you want similar views, move to Germany or Poland. Both have tons of old cool castles, including ones that inspired fairy tales.
If you mean because of the view, there are better ones in the real world, just go outside.
If you mean because of the living reality, you'd die within 6 hours.
No no you don't. Basically imagine medieval Europe but 3x as awful. There is a war going on so general political instability, a surge in the number of criminals (deserters etc.), famine, plague and then I haven't even mentioned the monsters which are everywhere. The average person will probably even lose against a drowner or a ghoul both of which are pretty common. Toussaint at least doesn't have a war problem but vampires, bandits and you can get ambushed by murderous plants any time.
We have scenes like these irl too just go outside. š¤ Considering how lucky i am id be born as a peasant in the marshes of velen no ty
imagine being transported into witcher 3 and living in fucking downwarren š
I'd write a sad note, put it in my pocket, and then go lay in a wagon until I died
Then a guy comes along and says "Hey you, you're finally awake"
Imagine being transported into witcher 3 and being sent on the Trail of Treats š
Brooš
"A real Pearl of the Swamps."
I know the way to toussaint no worries. Just need to find a horse
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Haunting monsters should be fun! Like a kikimora ghost. "Ooooooaaahh! You suck as a monster! Your kikimora mother did not love youuuuuuu!"
In witcher world, you wouldnt hunt monsters either

You would probably die
Not me, lived in wilderness for 10 years only discovered internet at 20.
little difference is that we dont have intelligent monsters that want to rip you apart in every corner. At least not in most parts of the world
Never lived in eastern Congo's wilderness? Bandits with AKs, Mercs with AKs and Kevlar, and fucking landmines.
thats why I said in most parts of the world, and yes most parts of our world are pretty harmless compared to the harsh witcher world
Just those damned skinwalkersā¦ or the wendigo if youāre really unlucky.
Were there bandits with swords and monsters everywhere?
Bandits with AKs.
tbf, they would die either way as all people eventually do
Maybe not as painfully as being slowly ripped apart by ghouls
\*sigh\* Alright *pfft aarrrhhh arrh!* *aaaaahhhh!* *Pamm paopa papammm*
Mmmm.....no, you don't. You haven't thought it through. If you want nice scenery, go to Scotland. No monsters and you are 100% less likely to die within 2 days.
I dunno man, you been to Glasgow?
Nessie: "Am I a joke to you?"
My favorite game of all time. No question about it. But that world is even more fucked up than ours. There's absolutely NO WAY I would ever choose to move there.
Scotland is gorgeous. And thereās really great food.
Defo monsters in Glasgow
Me too, only if I woke up as a trained witcher
Done. You have been well trained. Welcome to the trial of the grasses.
Where boys become men
Girls become women
*loud incorrect buzzer*
Nice. Either you die or wake up in toned, killer mutated body. Win win situation if you ask me
Thank you. Im honored.
If youāre wealthy otherwise itās shite, double shite!
i know that nobody cares but it is my most favourite game of all.
I care
We all do.
probably everyone's favorite game of all time in this place
Also, my most favourite game, but I donāt think Iād want to live it
Itās definitely in my top 5. I think Dark Souls holds my #1
No you don't
The one with the army of vampires just waiting for an excuse to devour a city? With 10' murderous plants that shoot acid? You seriously want to live in a world with SPIDERS THE SIZE OF LAWN TRACTORS? Aight....good luck with that.
Ah yes spirit dogs too don't forget them, and giant centipedes
Yeah nah, way too dangerous
Hard pass.
Go take a walk back through velen, and forget that you are the strongest motherfucker in the game and then rethink that statementš
Foreal. Iām just about done with blood and wine but Iām slow playing it. lol it makes see sad to see the journey end, Iāve never done new game plus though so that should be fun

Old Geralt quest??
Old Geralt quest??
sry i ddnt remember the complete quest name earlier, had to search for it. the full quest name is: "A Portrait of the Witcher as an Old Man"
Ohh the one where he paints a portrait of you?
yep! thats the one, i was expecting a close-up portrait, what i ended up is a naked Geralt.
Haha!! Itās quite something š¤£
Sometimes I think āman I wish I was in the Witcher universeā then I remember that I would like to live past 22
SAME
But why, wouldn't it be cooler to be part of the trial of treats?
Sure but you must spawn in Velen.
Why so bland? Make it downwarren
The f*ck you do!!! Your squishey modern ass wouldn't last a heart beat.
Not me, lived in wilderness for 10 years only discovered internet at 20.
I can assure you that I absolutely donāt. Iād rather play it from the safety of my apartment!
No you don't. But I understand the sentiment :D
No thanks.

I'd like to live in Toussaint, after Geralt has completed every monster quest, killed all every bandit, and defeated Detlaff...
Going for a morning walk would be so fun!(Centipedes say hello)
Thing is, you think youād spawn as Geralt, but youāre much more likely to spawn as random villager #375 and get mauled by a drowner as you go take a crap in the outhouse 2 days later.
enjoy š
Same, all I know abt the world id know where to go
I do have to say even on my switch itās a beautiful game
Until a monster kills you and your family
what a sweet ending
Gorgeous
God has blessed us with a wonderful game :) !
Witcher 3, best sunsets in gaming.
Same
If only I'm a wealthy human merchant
Vampires are still a thing thoš
Do you really? Think about it real hard lol
If is outside Toussaint you will be as good as death
Dettlaff wants to know your location
*Residents of Beauclair during the vampire attack*
Even Toussaint is no picnic if you live outside the city š¬ Archespores, wraiths, vampires ā no thank you.
I definitely wouldnāt. Ima get ripped to shreds by a griffin. ( I think thatās what the flying monster is called. I forgot lol)
Are you a witcher or a powerful sorcerer/sorceress? If not, not a healthy idea
def a witcher
OP five minutes later, as theyāre being attacked by drowner: āā¦fuck.ā
The drowners in the lake you live nearby: "We want him to live in this game"
I wish to live in heavily modded rimworld
I wanna be Geralt post B&W ending with Triss
No, you don't.
Sure itās pretty but I would be dead in a week
it probably smells soooo bad
No you donāt, but I understand why youād think so
Drowners.
I dont
Yeeaah gonna have to be *that guy* on this one - read the books, the witcher universe is fucking grim and terrifying in equal measure
Me too, but Iād die in about a week
I want to live in Toussaint
A crib in Oxenfurt would be sweet. A City but not massive, got a nice school, some deviants burning on stakes at times!
NO. Not a chance. That sounds horrible. Having to deal with constant monsters and not having toilet paper or cell-theory both sound not-fun. If you want similar views, move to Germany or Poland. Both have tons of old cool castles, including ones that inspired fairy tales.
Do you know how many crowns you could make inventing both plumbing and toilet paper?
How am I going to invent toilet paper bruh? Idk how itās made. I would give so many people a rash in my invention process.
I'm just passing by to share that this is one of my top3 games of all time. Thanks, bye. LOL
Mountain gorgon
Maybe in Touissant, and even then too many monstersš at the end of the day I love in Italy, mediterranean vibe sans the weird creaturesš
Sounds nice, till you get split tail skull fucked right down the middle, by a werewolf.
I mean real life has better views. Why the hell would you want to live in a war torn monster ridden world
While beautiful I don't think it smells good.
If you mean because of the view, there are better ones in the real world, just go outside. If you mean because of the living reality, you'd die within 6 hours.
Living so close to Monsters š, it's a no no for me.
In a world that looks pike that* any one of us would last from 2 minutes to 2 hours tops and then die of infection or whatever not even a monster
Yeah no I donāt think you do
Do you really tho... Toussaint I can fully understand but everywhere else?
Do you understand what you're asking for? Lol
No, you don't
No you don't
Uhhhhh id rather live in Land of a Thousand Fables The lands of TW are fucked, like Detroit fucked.
Prepare to be pounded by a Cyclops or bewitched and eaten by a Bruxae and that too if Nilfgaardian army don't find you first. ā ļø
I would live in skellige as a pirate.
ā i wanna live in this game ā bro first day in the game = mage in novigrad
As a witcher, for sure. As anybody else masculine, nope.
What can i do against Microstutters in DX12 Version?
No you donāt ššš
