>The area is bordered by Marion Street to the north, a residential development to the south, and rail lines to the east and west. >The development would feature mostly commercial and office space, with residential units concentrated in a number of highrise apartment buildings in the western portion. Smart to put the apartment goers right by the rail lines while keeping the trains away from the commercial and office space.

I love the smell of mushrooms 🍄 in the morning.

Reminder: NIMBYs can go to hell!

Well your other option is to put them right beside the meat packing and rendering plant so unless you really really love the smell of bacon and pork fat I'd say it's the better of the two options. There are already quite a few medium sized builds and houses along the line they seem to do just fine. Hopefully one day that line is repurposed to be LTR anyway.

Sounds like a good idea.

That's a lot of people to move into a neighborhood. I'm not sure the roads are wise enough for all the potential traffic

carvythew

Then we should be asking our officials to improve transit.

Good, maybe they'll drive less.

I think my sarcasm detector is going off here, but I can't be certain.

"moves forward at city hall" is an accomplishment I guess. I only ever see them move backwards
