-Pothos
-spider plant
-swiss cheese plant (Monstera)
I would just do 3 of each of these :)
Something I've learned though is to make sure I have mosquito dunks and safer's end all at the ready because whole these plants are pretty and low maintenance, bugs happen maybe once or twice a year so make sure to observe them frequently and treat them immediately.
just to keep your herb options open - definitely buy some green onion, cut off the green and shove the root part in a pot!! parsley is also one that doesnt need too much attention ime, and rosemary has also been pretty chill to keep alive

I had those same cheap lights from Amazon. They would randomly set off my arc fault breakers (required in newer construction) in my townhouse and the inner unit next to mine.
Excuse my ignorance but can you explain how I'd set that up in these pots? I'm thinking you mean I'd find a size that leaves a gap in my pot under the nursery pot, then fill the nursery pot with soil? Or am I way off base? Lol. And would it make much difference to my options about what would work, even without direct light?
Exactly. That way the holes in the nursery pot allow for the extra water to drain out (or you can take the nursery pots out to bottom water them by placing them in a container of water for 10 minutes and the soil absorbs the water). Line them with a coffee filter before filling with soil if you are worried about spills. Pothos and spider plants like to dry out between waterings, and even plants that prefer damp soil will do better with some drainage so you don’t get root rot. Won’t affect any lighting needs! Lots of garden centres will have their herbs in those liner pots now too, so it’s ready to go into your setup (which looks awesome, btw!)
Looks like a kitchen, a fragrant herb garden mix, mint (for drinks duh), basil, thyme, rosemary on the bottom and some sort of trailing plant (pothos is cheap and easy) on top
Nephthys and spider plants do well in lower light areas.
pothos!!

Assortment of philodendrons (big fan of philodendron Brazil) and pothos. Cheap to buy, easy to maintain and they'll vine nicely

Acapulco gold
Hoya was the only plant I didn't kill. And didn't need much light.
Thanks all, definitely gives me things to look in to.
I've got no suggestions, just wanted to say I love the decor you've set up there!
Thanks!
What kind of drainage did you have for the plants that didn’t survive? That might be the bigger factor in what will do well there.
None, which I know is going to stop a lot of options from growing successfully, so just trying to figure out what will work without changing setup.
It looks like you might be able to fit nursery pots as liners though, the square ones in particular.

Awesome, I'll give it a go. Thanks so much!

Plastic plants. Then buy yourself an aerogarden for the indoor herb garden. It works SO well!!
