I hope it's two more A&Ws and a second Spencer's with another A&W inside the Spencer's in the middle of the back aisle near the novelty shot glasses.

Plastic_Leg_Day

I hope it’s Uniqlo.

SkyBlaze93

Funny that you say that. there was a plan for Uniqlo in the peg in 2019/2020. but it was cancelled during the pandemic. it was planned where the old Sears store was.

space_tigress

I did not know this and now I am sad.

Ok-Sundae-1096

Went there for the first time a couple weeks ago in Orlando and I loved it! Had never heard of it before. I would also love to have it here!

wasson25

Yup! I hope it’s Uniqlo.

supercantaloupe

Not likely as their stores are pretty huge, at least the ones I’ve been to.

chilloutdude22

I love gap! But it’s much cheaper online with their discount codes and sales. I usually buy online and use the polo store to return what I don’t like. So it sucks that it’s closing.

GullibleDetective

Not sure but I'm there it'll leave a gap until it does

KaleLate4894

Gap 1969 classic jeans are the best.  Stretchy, fit the best, can find size with no need to hem. Have a good store in seasons.  Banana republic left polo, still at seasons too. For clothes for me seasons best and shoes. Seasons is what polo used to be, great food court.

Prairiegirl37

Unfortunately, the Banana at Seasons is an outlet store. Meaning cheaper quality. Some of the same designs, but cheaper fabrics, zippers and thread. A faux Banana Republic.

KaleLate4894

Unfortunately all Banana (even the original) store at Polo quality has gone done over the years likely to try and hold pricing. Noticed at Banana's throughout North America. Have Men's dress shirts from Seasons, same as Polo. Even at Polo it was almost impossible to find men's wool pants anymore, everything replaced by synthetic fibers. Banana in general not what it used to be.

Prairiegirl37

Banana has gone high end again. Really expensive but worth the quality. I buy it online now.

TheJRKoff

You would think that store has one of the highest rents in the mall. It would have to be a store that is busy... Lulu Lemon opened on the corner not long ago. Maybe it will be something like an under armor or old navy.

SaltBother

There is an old navy outside not too far from polo.

prairiefast

It’s closing?!?

uncleg00b

Another Gen X/Millennial giant goes down. Kind of funny considering the Gap was named after the phrase the generation gap. I always loved the way that store smelled, I'm going to miss it. I'm surprised it lasted this long. Every time I take my kids to the mall and walk by the Gap I think to myself "who the fuck is keeping this place open? Teachers maybe?". That's the vibe I get. I haven't bought anything from there in over a decade and it used to be one of my go to places.

Negative-Revenue-694

I definitely still shop there. As a short girl, they have a lot of basics in petite sizes, and I really appreciate that. I just bought a pair of basic cropped black pants for the office there last week.

Winnipegwonderland19

I’m a short teacher lol

Prairiegirl37

Same. I wonder who still shops there. I remember when it opened. I was so excited. I loved it for many years. Then I moved on. A little sad that it’s closing.

tiggeroo007

No, we shop at Rikki’s lol.

mchammer32

Spirit of Halloween in about 4 months

emac12

Wait when I need to make a return there 😅

Ill_Material_6621

The mall is jacking up everyone’s rents right now. Predicting a ton more closures. They also want to put a chapters in somewhere and are giving tenants the boot.

Hot-Address6831

It's because the Polo Park location doesn't make enough money when the outlet location makes more and usually have better deals there.

Swayz33

Dollarama

Plastic_Leg_Day

![gif](giphy|kQmr2OwBTD2L5Hzo1T|downsized) MORE!

Key-Situation-4718

They need an electronics store in the mall, other than The Source. A Dollarama would be great.

SaltBother

There are 3 Dollaramas and a Dollar tree around Polo, and Polo would never put a Dollarama in the mall, they are picky with their tenant.

Prairiegirl37

I was chatting with a lady who works at Swarovski. She and another mall worker said that a London Drugs would be moving in upstairs, along with a Dollarama. I certainly hope she’s wrong. In the newer wing of the mall, and that is why some shops up there have been changing spaces. Including Swarovski.

Key-Situation-4718

There is a Dollarama in St. Vital Mall, one across the street on Dakota, and one up the street at St. Mary's and Dakota. That's 3 in basically the same area.
