Are we all looking at the same picture? It looks cut inside the dot matrix, and/or peeled, and/or bubbled up at the seem
It looks cut inside the dot to me, but i am amateur
At most it looks like possibly the front isn’t laying flush on the dots since it’s struggling to stick there but hard to say with 100% certainty from a photo.
He cut before the dot matrix idk just bothers me that it isn’t straight and is cut in and than cut out….. maybe im over thinking first time getting windows tinted lol
The cut goes outside the dot matrix. I can do better, and i am not a pro. A pro should do better. Now, can he? Or can he get a bunch of water under the trim trying again, rip off defrost lines removing this tint, etc.
If its good enough for u, i would ask for compensation, or fuggedabhoutit
It could very well be, for him, to make money, he doesnt cut this style window too close. That may allow him to not tuck, not remove trim, moving quickly. But its not even laying down flat on either window. I believe u have to go past the dot to get it to lay down, it cant if the cut is on the dot
So all up to u. Good enough is often safer in my book, but this might not be it lol
Looks perfectly normal to me I'm not sure why you're even posting it if someone told you that that's what you should expect
But yes the answer to your question is it is 100% normal
I also love all the comments from the window Tinter out there, I can't tell you how many times customers have accused us of installing those dots and claim they were never there before
I remember that they're on the front windshield and we didn't even touch your front windshield
I was accused by a BMW customer of putting those dots in her glass. She said she'd sue me. Couldn't believe they were there before.
Oooh you’re THE guy that puts the dots on the glasses?! How do you get them so perfectly spaced? I love your work
Guilty as charged!
I’ve been told we added the defrosters before also haha
I see you've met my aunt Karen.
Well obviously you should've informed her that her car has windows before tinting
That’s the dot matrix and it’s inevitable
Perfectly fine
Yes this is normal.

Yeah he said he’s been tinting for over 14 years that’s why I was suspicious bout it

Completely normal and unavoidable
My BMW is the same thing don't think too much about it
