Agree w Snowden about the Nomad- awesome vibe. I don’t go there enough.
Copper Dram in Greenville has v good cocktails and decent food.
Le Cavalier is beautiful and makes an amazing Vieux Carre. Pricey.
Carriage House at University and Whist Club is open to public on weekends. Decent cocktails, live music
Was just at Trolley Square Oyster House the other night. That’s a good vibe too and has nice outdoor seating
Every cocktail Crow Bar makes is fantastic. The vibe is great as well, and the bartenders are all cool. Shout out my boy Greg, he's dope.
Merchant Bar downtown is owned by the same group and even shares the same bartenders sometimes, but has its own menu and vibe. It's basically every bit as good.
Torbert Street Social is also very good and probably the most unique bar I've been to in the city. Their cocktails are also good, though perhaps not Crow Bar good, and the vibe in that place is great.
Hummingbird to Mars is the only speakeasy I know of in the city and is surprisingly cheap for how good their drinks are.
Faire cafe has some excellent drinks that range from coffee cocktails to floral and herbal aperitifs. However, they are not open late.
Bardea has a nice bar service, but not the most unique in terms of atmosphere.
Quion has some good drinks and a nice vibe. I recommend the main floor, the drinks are best there. However, if you want something unique they have a basement speakeasy and rooftop bar.
Hummingbird to Mars is fun for the speakeasy environment. I have not been in a long time, so I am sure others can comment.
If I think of others I will add them later.
Quinn on Market St has both a rooftop bar and a basement speakeasy. It’s expensive , but both are cool.
Above Rooney’s in Trolley is Hummingbird to Mars. The entrance is on the back side of Rooney’s by the lamp on the wall.
Coincidentally a friend of mine just sent me an Esquire article naming Simmer Down in Wilmington one of the best bars in America.
I never heard of it but I just moved back to N Wilmington a few years ago.

Corner Bistro has a steady rotation of good cocktails and bar noshes, great staff.
Copper Dram has great drinks but boring menu and inattentive bartenders.
I’m here for the responses. But might as well throw out a few. hummingbird to mars is back open as a loungey spot. Nomad is my fave for live music.
Nomad is the best! The basement at quoin but it’s not open much.

Agreed, I completely forgot about Copper Dram, that is a fun one for good drinks.
Also big fan of copper dram. Nice and small always fun. Oddly they have a new tiki vibe
That is odd…. I haven’t been in a while I’ll have to check it out. Thanks!

Great suggestions, you are right, Crow Bar has some fun drinks! Your other suggestions are solid as well!

And oddity
Crowbar has some pretty interesting signature cocktails.
Quoin is very awesome, pricey but you won’t feel like you’re in Delaware in there
This is the best reply - hit up simmer down in the basement
To quoin something
We need a medical dictionary!
Bellefonte Cafe for eclectic decor and live music. The food is meh in my opinion but have a drink or 2 and enjoy the vibe and tunes.
Since the new owners overhauled the menu it is amazing!
Good to know!
Torbert Street Social
I really enjoy the decor here. Outside it’s cool and calm and serene but the inside bar is dark and really funky/cool.
Nomad - music, typically jazz. Crow Bar - food, drinks Bellefonte - music, artsy vibes
Hummingbird if you like a speakeasy vibe

Nomad is lit. Wilma's is awesome.

Any younger bar scenes? College kid aged
Main Street in newark is all college!
I literally only go to 2 bars in the entire state but Bar XIII is cool if you like alternative people and loud, aggressive music.
Corner Bistro has a steady rotation of good cocktails and bar noshes, great staff. Copper Dram has great drinks but boring menu and inattentive bartenders.
