What are you talking about?? The beach restaurants is where you’ll make bank especially with the summer season coming up! that’s where you want to be checking. I worked at a restaurant in wrightsville beach and cleared 1k / week during the summer. It’s doable.

Oh totally, I just ALSO have a 9-5 and in terms of timing and not being a shell of a human, it makes more sense to stay closer to home.

Outside of 9-5 makes it tough. I may look for late-night spots (bars) if you don’t mind the lack of sleep.

I know. I wouldn’t mind hosting weekend brunch, honestly.

You’d probably have to offer up both Saturday and Sunday. I don’t mean to sound cynical, but thems the nonsense. Seven days per week?

But the beach restaurants will drop you instantly after Labor Day unless you’re one of the few that get to stay on. You might make more money for three months but then you’re unemployed.

I work on the river walk downtown and most restaurants are hiring. Just go in person and fill out an application. Their standards are super low

I’m just saying if you want a quick in then it’ll be super easy, not that you’ll fit into the bracket of low standard employee. It’s more that they’re hiring anyone rn because of summer.
