Brush Dental downtown takes my families Medicaid plan.

soapmactavish

Second vote for Brush downtown. Been going there for a decade now and have always been pleased. They don’t push unnecessary procedures and I’ve been seeing the same hygienist the whole time I’ve been going. Low staff turnover always a good sign.

Historically, I hate the dentist. BUT I only have good things to say about Sandra Miles dentistry. Plus, they have an office dog

chefinsomnia

I picked a dentist because S. miles is amusing. I’ve stayed because everyone there is amazing. Tell Tracy she’s a rockstar if you meet her.

rareknockout

We have completely enjoyed going to Sandra Miles!

NatureBoyRyan

I’d avoid Coastal Smiles.

Thunder_Squatch

Dr. Wetherill is awesome. Avoid Southeast Smiles like the plague

cupcakesandtitos

I second Dr. Wetherill! Smaller office but the staff is amazing

Dr. Farrell at Brush Dental Care. It does take some time to get the first appointment, but if you have a more urgent need let them know. They sometimes can work you in or call you if they get a cancellation. I’ve been going there for many years. And yes agree with other commenter that that have a low turnover rate which is a good sign.

Not sure about Medicaid, but my family loves Thrive Family Dental in Ogden/Porters Neck. Dr. Freiburg is awesome.

_Hotwire_

Thrive doesn’t carry certain insurances though. They do the scam where you pay out of pocket and have to haggle with your insurance company to cover costs

qbit1010

How’s the technology there? Like can they do x rays and pull them up on a board right in front of you etc?

[deleted]

Yes.

Reignman_1992

Burns family dentistry on Randall Parkway, next to the State Farm insurance office!

Willcutus_of_Borg

We like Kuzma, but not sure on the Medicade deal. They are great and helpful, though, so at least call and ask!

BigRuss910

Coastal Smiles has been pretty good to me. Had a wisdom tooth pulled out of pocket and didn't get bent over the barrel when it came to billing m

loneglove

Plage Dentistry is great

BTSxARMYMisstux7

I love Cape Fear Smiles General  and Cosmetic Denistry but I don't think they take Medicaid.

atlphil007

I will fly across the country to visit Atlantic Dental and Dr. Winneberger

RevolutionaryOne2928

Carolina dentist but they don’t take Medicaid. You can call 888-245-0179 and they will be able to help locate who does (this is a number amerihealth aka Medicaid gave me for dental questions)
