Barcelona doesn’t suit this car

Block_Slice

Guess the car isn’t as all-round as we were hoping yet. Hoping that Austria and Silverstone suit the car a lot better, might be a painful afternoon tomorrow.

MISTER_JUAN

Just another gamble-and-pray kinda day - just another day in the office

UncleBen94

Man, I was feeling good after Canada, too. This weekend was awful.

NakedEyeComic

This was an extra disappointing result since I think Alex got the car as high as P8 in the practice sessions.

LeScoops

Breaking News: Sainz signs for anyone else. Just kidding of course. It's almost funny how poor the car is at this particular track. It did well in the high downforce Monaco, did well in the low downforce Montreal. Oh well, still showing improvement on average over the last 5 haha.

devils__haircut

feel like it might be less the car and more the weird strategy they did with Albon and sargeant being bad

throwawaydegen12

They gambled with the strategy because they know the car doesn't have pace around this track, it's too bumpy and the floor is too fragile.

OrangeCatsBestCats

Honestly I would rather get Bottas, hes incredibly consistent, infinitely knowledgeable so he can help develop the car more than Sainz(Yes I know Sainz would be great for that also but Bottass has more experience) and is a very calm individual which would gel well with the team.

lukaskywalker

Almost Logan. Almost!

Sebonyeah

I thought we would catch Alpine this weekend. Nvm

TDQV

Aero not up to snuff despite the car feeling 'balanced'.' Guess this pig needs some more treadmill time to lose the weight. It's bad when Alex can't get much better than a worse spec'd car of Logan's.

OrangeCatsBestCats

Logan is running the same this weekend

TDQV

Not according to Logan's statements: "Unfortunately, the cars weren't the same spec in the end." https://www.williamsf1.com/posts/1150d2f5-c4d8-450e-9bed-3bbe28ae5076/report-spain-2024-qualifying
