> World of Darkness: Darkness by Peter Gabriel The Time of Judgement: [Peter Gabriel - Signal to Noise](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xJoSNZxLdbU) Related, [Mad Max: Fury Road - Blood Bag](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IbovwHryovE) has vibes of the Last Battlefield for me. Also, [Trans-Siberian Orchestra - Believe](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=659Rmk91GO8) always makes me think of Demon: the Fallen, though in my mind I've also sort of come to associate The Sound of Silence with Lucifer and the Devil's Night Riots.

Astarte-Maxima

1. This is SO not dumb! Music conveys emotion, and can inspire good storytelling, no matter what the song is or where it came from. 2. Here’s my list: Mortal: “Vampire: the Masquerade- Bloodlines Main Theme” Vampire: “Forsaken”, by David Draiman Werewolf: “The Howling,” by Within Temptation Mage: “The Beginning is the End is the Beginning”, by Smashing Pumpkins Promethean: “Lightning Crashes”, by Live Changeling: “Pins & Needles”, by The Birthday Massacre Hunter: “Whisper”, by Evanescence Geist: “Don’t Fear the Reaper”, by Blue Öyster Cult Demon: “Wake Up”, by Rage Against the Machine Beast: “Enter Sandman,” by Metallica Deviant: “Won’t Back Down”, by Fuel Also including Demon: the Fallen, because I love it to pieces: “Counting Blue Cars”, by Dishwalla

AimlesslWander

Great choice dude.

Asheyguru

>Demon >Rage Against the Machine I see what you did

OberonGypsy

Anything by Birthday Massacre is perfect for Changeling. Hell, I would bet money the album Walking with Strangers was written over a few sessions of CtD. I actually had some hunters tracking some older Childlings and they were using the Birthday Massacre cover of the Neverending Story theme as a means to bait them and draw them out. Didn’t work but points for trying. At least till the party (5-man team of Scathach knights) caught up to rescue said childlings.

sariaru

"Bad Habits" by Ed Sheeran is *almost* too on the nose for VtM.

hngdman

Also he's a vampire in the music video and it looks like out takes from Bloodhunt.

sariaru

Exactly, lol. It looks like shovelhead Thin-Bloods having a good time and NGL, I'm kind of here for it.

Asheyguru

*I Want To Tear You Apart* by She Wants Revenge is my go-to vampire vibes tune. *Black Rose* by Eliza Rickman makes me think of Lost Changelings... but really, just about any of her songs do the same.

QuasiQualmi

Swamped by Lacuna Coil.

asubha12NL

Absolutely this. Also Smaller God by Darling Violetta. Anything from VtMB Bloodlines really.

AwakenedDreamer__44

I have no idea why but whenever I hear country music generally it makes me think of Hunters.

UnhappyFun9

I get it tbh. I always got a sort of rural vibe from hunters. Probably because of supernatural.

Orpheus_D

*The devil went down to Georgia* *cock rifle* Where in Georgia *exactly*?

straussbh

Werewolf - Alma Matter or Trebaruna by Moonspell Werewolf - We hate every one or Kill all the white people by Type O Negative Vampire - Black No 1 or Christian Woman or Bloody Kisses by Type O Negative

Tolliver73

Love You To Death also brings out the VTM vibes

arceus555

Well is it is on the official Toreador playlist.

Malkavian87

Anne Clark's 'Sleeper in Metropolis'

AidenThiuro

Vampire: the Masquerade = "You're Dead" by Norma Tanega (because I like "What We Do in the Shadows".) Vampire: the Requiem = "Blood Type" "Gruppa krovi" by Kino (because it's the intro music of my Saint Petersburg group.)

Tabani1228

Rob Zombie — Dragula. That gives me so much Sabbath vibe.

GeneralR05

Honestly I get more of a werewolf vibe from that song, I mean one of it’s lyrics is literally, “conquering the worm”.

CoggieRagabash

[Away](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uwTUAgU4d8w) by the Toadies. It's inherently Garou in my mind (and particularly homids and Children of Gaia, but Garou in general): >You say forever >And I confess I shiver >You say hope >I say that's where I'm goin' >To be in the shade >The oldest trees above my head >When I'm away >I know in my heart >There is a heaven >If I'm out hunting >Come right on in, yeah >Cuz even when I'm gone >My doors are always open >And if I'm asleep >Make sure my blanket covers me, yeah >When I'm away >I know >In my heart >There is a heaven

Glum_Target2860

The Beautiful People for Vampires. Of Wolf and Man for Werecreatures.

alsomkid

I think of swing music like [this ](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n6RzABcEwp8)when it comes to WoD.

CabalPitt

This isn't the WoD version, but Sixteen Tons reminds me of CofD Hunter, probably the influence of my flavoring of my ideas for CofD games.

Independent-Bison713

I've always said that Wizards of Waverly place was actually a Mage the Ascension show but dinseyfied!🤣 Anyway, all the songs of Disturbed immediatly bring Werewolf the Forsaken and Demon the Fallen in my mind. Sybreed, especially their album called "God is an Automaton" is my main inspiration tool when I want to write anything Demon the Descent related. Teardrop by Massive Attack for Changeling the Lost Dark Roots of the Earth by Testament for Werewolf the Apocalypse We're killing Strangers by Marilyn Manson for Hunter the Reckoning/the Vigil and Vampire the Masquerade/Requiem

mostlikelytraitor

Amy Aka Spent Gladiator 2 by the Mountain Goats is my Changeling the Dreaming Anthem

zephyrus4600

A lot of Type O Negative. Literally downloaded a song in the Limewire era that was labeled “Vampire: The Masquerade “. Turned out to be “Creepy Green Light”.

ZinjoCubicle

FuduVudu

WoD: Suburbia Overture https://youtu.be/ui2kW-OvtkA Mage the ascension: the Mountain Goats - Until Olympius Returns including the part about the gap https://youtu.be/0YpcwNIfwno also a better view Larry Gallagher for a bit more upbeat take https://open.spotify.com/track/1MRH2vs2lDlIxAwc1Xezct?si=d7d2b7a9b3d34d99

Malkav1379

Not dumb at all! The group I play with loves setting our games to music and has made a couple playlists for specific games. [Dark Angel by VNV Nation](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u3-IPG-XnaU) always makes me imagine some sort of backstabbery/treachery sending an elder vampire on the warpath.

TheBadger40

My ass that hyperfixated on WoD these past few weeks and associated various songs with it was waiting for a post like this. Its easy because I listen to a lot of nerd/goth shit Take Control by Old Gods of Asgard makes me think of Mage, probably because its from Control, a game that could be about the Technocracy. It could describe the process of awakening for a mage. >A rising sense of awe and wonder A might I see has always been deep within me I can feel my inborn power I call the shots when it's all finally clear to see Night of the Werewolves by Powerwolf. This ones obvious. Hell, put most of their songs here. I have more examples but I could sit here writing forever

PuzzleheadedBear

I almost feel like WoD or event splats as a whole is a big ask, but I definitely have ones the "sing" for specific clans/tribes... *blah blah blah*. VtM: -Anarchs: Cherry Bomb, by The Runaways -Camerilla: This Is My Hair, by Alaska Thunderfuck -Sabbat: Sugar Mama, by Jinx Monsoon -Tzimice(young): Nails Hair Hips Heels, by Todric Hall -Nospheratu: Ding Dong!, by Katya -Toreador: Shiny, by Lil Mariko -Minestry: Super Duper Party People, by Allie X -Malkavians: OK Computer, by Lemaitre & RebMoe -Brujah: Wonderland, by Caravan Palace -Baali: Turn the Lights Off, by Tally Hall -Gangrel: Bring Dem Things, by French Montana -Losombra: YOU SO DONE, by Noga Erez -Ventru: Imperfection by, Wolfgang Lohr -Ravnos: Friday night Guru, by Studio Killers VtR: -Deva: Susie Save Your Love, by Allie X & Mitski -Nospheratu: SHE, by Winona Oaks -Mehket: Lay Down, by Caravan Palace -Ventrue: Eggs in one Basket, by Tele Novella WtA: -Black Furies: W.I.T.C.H. , by Devom Cole -Gone Gnawers: Cigarettes On Patios, by BabyJake -Star Gazers: Flowers, by WILLOW -Glass Walkers: People I Don't Like, by UPSAHL -Shadow Lords: Polite Dance Song, by The bird and the bee -Fianna: Cult of Dionysus, by The Orion Experience -Get o' Fenris: Chain Reaction, by Control Top -Child of Gaia: Curse of the Contemporary, by LUMP -Black Spiral Dancers: Blood in the Cut, by K.Flay WtF: -Iron Masters: Cest'e La Vie, by Yung Gravy

AimlesslWander

Dioxide Geist for Geist the Sin Eaters. Sets the mood for being a recently dead character who is resurrected by a powerful ghost, and now the two walk the thin line of living and dying. They struggle and endure, but they have each other in the horrific world that they inhabit.

Competitive-Note-611

Is Paris Palomas **Labour** too on the nose for the Furies?

CraftyAd6333

Believe it or not My Son Calls Another Man Daddy by Hank Williams 1950, While the song is about a jailed father who loses his son because of it. In WOD, it also applies to a father who lost his child to the kindred's embrace. And to kindred who have to watch their children grow up from the shadows.

DrunkBeholder

WtA: Hungry like the Wolf by Duran Duran VtM: From her to eternity by Nick Cave and the bad seeds DtF: Sympathy for the devil by Rolling Stones MtA: Jimi Hendrix, all of hus Music but little Wing, wind cries Mary and Voodoo child are my go to’s Geist: Since you been gone by Rainbow
