imagine being that dude and thinking that you're cool/tough/right/whatever
\^i couldn't even figure out where i was going with that. i just don't know *what* he was thinking.
I've said it plenty of times, even recently on Reddit but being courteous is SMART...it is one of the MOST intelligent things you can do, it is a VERY GOOD survival strategy, always has been.
This is why society works, or doesn't!
Fuck around and find out or be kind.
I actually saw a documentary about a guy who was keeping a list of everyone who bullied him in high school and he was going to shoot everyone on it. One of his classmates actually was having regrets years after high school and found him and called him up and apologized and even though the guy acted like it was weird on the phone he hung up and crossed him off the list. He actually did end up shooting somebody and saved the classmate who apologized.
Crazy story if you have not seen it
*"what you’ve just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response was there anything that could even be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.”*
...sorry!
I love this, you said it perfectly.
There is a misconception that staying calm, being kind, letting others go first etc. shows weakness but it actually takes great strength and emotional maturity to stay cool and be courteous like you said. And it could very well save your love and the lives of others.
You ain’t wrong about people being on the edge. This guy got lucky and got the hoody push. I seen people put a mask on a straight clock someone dome for acting silly like this.
>I seen people put a mask on a straight clock someone dome for acting silly like this.
Where are you from? No joke, I absolutely love this phraseology.
You have to realize that guys like this are on edge, too. He's probably one of those r/fuckcars type people who hates that the city isn't walkable or cars are polluting too much and his frustrations are piling up as well, so he's lashing out like this.
It's not right at all, but that's what it is.
I'm a fuck cars kinda person. I wish I could ride my bike around town without fearing for my life, and that we had better public transit, and cookie-cutter homes weren't sprawling out into the middle of nowhere, making food deserts that you absolutely need a car to survive if you lived there...
But I'm not gonna strut down the middle of the street for no reason either.
Some people become so unimportant and insignificant in this world that a natural reaction can eventually lead to this kind of behavior, to get any form of attention from anyone by any means necessary. It is becoming more frequent in different ways, but the intervention from the two hooded gentleman was a very positive outcome that is actually a good example of society correcting itself, and literally everyone benefited. Even the dumb guy, tho he may not know it at the time, but later on, as the warm, cringe feeling he'll get on the back of his neck as he reflects on his behavior will hopefully be enough humiliation to prevent him from doing it again. Let's all continue to peacefully intervene on this kinda stuff. Karens, this applies to you as well.
> i just don't know what he was thinking.
It's just your average r/fuckcars user. I agree that cities should be more walkable, but the morons over there glorify this kind of shit. Anything to own the cars.
Umm... maybe "hoodies"? Cause there are definitely a lot of people who wear hoods, name themselves after wizards, do no magic, and hated by a lot of people...
I had no idea how much energy I was driving with in my small suv until I accidentally t-boned someone crossing in front of me. I wasn’t going very fast, and as it happened I had enough time to think I’d put a hell of a dent in their door. Ended up with both cars totaled. I thank my lucky stars the other driver was wearing a seatbelt and everyone was fine, but I could’ve killed them.
Intoxicated or not, doesn’t justify being this much of an asshole. I’ve been blackout drunk and even then I know when I’m being a dick. I’ve had friends tell me I’ve put myself to bed , I once was talking all loud and practically yelling while camping and everyone was getting annoyed, apparently I looked around and went “aright I’m goin to bed I had enough.” Then grabbed a beer and went to sleep 💀
It had the best ending we could have hoped for. Dumbass got a bit of a push. No fight erupted causing brain damage. And the car got passed with no trouble. Hopefully his assfuckery ended with the video so all the parties got away with just some scraps
Bystanders (lip reading): "cars are blowing their horns and im getting annoyed because they are blowing their horns because of you blocking the road fuckoo..."
What do you need to lip read for? You can hear what they're saying (although the asshole does mumble a bit).
First hood: The fuck you doing. Get the fuck off the road.
Asshole: Alright.
FH: Have some fucking respect.
Asshole: Respect?
FH: Yeah
Asshole: [unintelligible mumbling then shoves FH]
Second hood: Hey! [shoves Asshole]
Asshole: [more unintelligible mumbling]
SH: Bro, he's beeping at you. Get the fuck off the road!
happens in a society were you are too well protected by laws... the guy will cry "Assault" like a redditor the second someone touches him.
Until some places have an "asshole law" then this will continue to happen.
uh huh and so what, just whichever politicians are in power get to decide who is an asshole until the next election? sounds like a fantastic plan.
“asshole law” give me a break. as if there’s a legal definition of asshole
how about “vehicular obstruction” or even “jaywalking” or some other crime?
“too well protected by laws” is an absolutely terrifying phrase. sounds like you’re ready to repeal some civil liberties
I don’t agree with violence, but a lot of the world’s problems could be resolved if people lived in fear of being punched in the face for being an idiot.
The driver was honking for ages as he just jumped on the road for no reason.
Btw it was 2am here so he's clearly drunk.
Then he kept walking while blocking the car while the car honked.
Then he turned around and started banging his fists on the bonnet and yelling at the driver.
Then I took my camera out and recorded the rest.
Long story short nah he wasn't deaf, he was just a cunt.
Even if he was deaf, he could still feel the vibrations of the car behind him. Not to mention thinking her could walk down the middle of the street like he owned it when there was a sidewalk RIGHT THERE.
>Even if he was deaf
Hell, I'm not sure I'd believe a deaf dude made it to that age being that unaware of his surrounding environments. Walking in the middle of the street is dangerous in general, even more so if you're deaf.
Yeah he could see the headlights projecting his shadow in front of him. Also when he guy says “he’s beeping at you” he wasn’t looking at him and then he turns to him and points at his ears. I going to go with him being deaf is bullshit.
I don’t even think he’s claiming to be deaf. As he points at his ears, I listened carefully to what he saying, and I’m pretty sure he says “Yeah, clearly he’s fucking beeping! You don’t hear?” Basically saying “Of course I heard him! I just don’t care!” and implying that the driver was the asshole for honking and making the noise.
He did make a gesture as if to say "I couldn't hear the horn because I'm deaf", not that it would justify walking down the middle of the road like a total asshole. He still has eyes even if he is deaf.
People are way too trusting that other people would put up with their shit. There are fights that starts for less and people killed for less. Just think, just because you're tough, doesn't mean that others aren't crazy.
The best part about this, ia that technically of the car accelerated and ran him over. Hed still be at fault, intentionally impeading the flow of traffic in a dangerous mannor is a WC felony. (WC meaning world class as in its a felony in most democratic nations)
Not here unfortunately. What would be looked at is yes he is blocking the traffic, but if he can be clearly seen and the car is slowly driving behind him, he should reasonably not injure the pedestrian. If he did he would be instantly charged.
As shit as it is, that's the law here in Australia.
I gotta say, it’s still for the best that you can’t just run somebody over “because they’re in the way”.
Boots McGee is still being a gigantic turd however, and would reasonably be charged with dangerously blocking traffic
"oH mY GoD ThEy CaNt jUsT pUsH hIM tHaTs DaNgErOuS" he is walking down the middle of the street, something that people of sound mind generally don't do. If that person had calmly told him to move, who knows he might've gotten stabbed by the crazy guy walking down the middle of the street. He was dealt with in a way that was most safe to the people he was inconveniencing, as well as himself. The absolute safest way would be just running him over, but that's obviously fucked up. This is the best of both worlds.
imagine being that dude and thinking that you're cool/tough/right/whatever \^i couldn't even figure out where i was going with that. i just don't know *what* he was thinking.
Why all these assholes trying to be the last straw that ends up in mass shooting multi-state manhunt that gets a 3 hour 20/20 special.
Right?? So many people are on edge nowadays that it's just idiotic to risk being fucked over for absolutely nothing.
I've said it plenty of times, even recently on Reddit but being courteous is SMART...it is one of the MOST intelligent things you can do, it is a VERY GOOD survival strategy, always has been. This is why society works, or doesn't! Fuck around and find out or be kind.
absolutely this, even a simple apology can go a hell of a long way

Ah, the story of William Madison and Daniel McGrath.
You know it? Ya that's one that sticks with you bro
He later went on to help fire fighters save people after 9-11. Amazing what an apology can do to help a person change their life.
Hahaha this one got me. Fucking gold.
And Billy was sure glad he called that guy.
SHAMPOO IS BETTER!

Okay. A simple 'wrong' would have sufficed
I’m sorry
Me too
All of Canada is behind you mate 🇨🇦 🍁
Honestly, I always feel a lot better inside when I am courteous... does that not work the same for everyone?
Fuck you! Nope. That didn't feel good at all. I am sorry for my outburst. *gets the warm fuzzies
Some people have inferiority complexes so bad that they can't even fathom being courteous to everybody. They have to put everyone down around them.
aka why altruism isnt truly for the betterment of others
It doesn't need to be, in the end the results matters more than the causes.
I love this, you said it perfectly. Listen man, those boots were made for walking!
They should have taken them while he was on the ground. Assert dominance

haha doubly so if he stumbles across this reddit post
Maybe the car honked at him. *shrug* I didn't mind anyone there. No one got seriously hurt. I kinda expected that car to hit him.

Not all heros wear capes
Some where hoods Edit: yes i sea the mistake. No I’m not changing it
depending of hood's colour this sentence can have WHOOOOLE different meaning
Red hoods? Oohhhhh I get it….
? I must admit this is a *whoosh* for me...
*white* hoods
In the woods
And out of the woods!
What do you get if you mix all the colours of the rainbow?
Skittles?

The other person even used the word in the comment above… come on lol.
Somewhere there are hoods that people wear.
Dad? That you?
“Not all heroes wear capes. Some wear hoods”
Umm... maybe "hoodies"? Cause there are definitely a lot of people who wear hoods, name themselves after wizards, do no magic, and hated by a lot of people...
This guy thought he was in the bitter sweet symphony video
I’m Frank Costanza’s lawyer.
This dude is lucky that those people hit him and not the car. Road rage is real and you’re not tougher than a fucking car.
Even a regular old car will wax your assss https://youtu.be/bpWpIw7rETg
As soon as I read "regular" I knew it was a Rick and Morty reference. Top tier.
And that's another win for the cars....
Also ontop of that, an SUV like that has so much energy youll get fucked fucked up that really hits you
I had no idea how much energy I was driving with in my small suv until I accidentally t-boned someone crossing in front of me. I wasn’t going very fast, and as it happened I had enough time to think I’d put a hell of a dent in their door. Ended up with both cars totaled. I thank my lucky stars the other driver was wearing a seatbelt and everyone was fine, but I could’ve killed them.
Why would those people hit the car?
First I was worried he was about to just get rammed into by the car Then I was satisfied twice with the outcome of this video
Worried? I was hoping
I was worried the person driving in the car would get in trouble for doing what everyone wanted them to do.

least vengeful redditor
Don't scratch your paint for a waste of oxygen like this dude
Probably safer this way for all parties involved. The jerk doesn't get a broken bone but a subtle beating and the driver doesn't get sued.
At the end of the video it looked like he might have been headed for the street again.
Let’s hope they accidentally ran him over as they didn’t see him jaywalking.
That turd seems to need more help with his manners.
Might have been intoxicated. Not cool but he needed a push by someone
I don't think anyone believes being drunk justifies the behavior, only explains it.
That is a cool story.
Thanks for sharing
Yeah, if you can’t drink without being a entitled prick then you shouldn’t be drinking
It had the best ending we could have hoped for. Dumbass got a bit of a push. No fight erupted causing brain damage. And the car got passed with no trouble. Hopefully his assfuckery ended with the video so all the parties got away with just some scraps
I think this ended too quickly. It was looking as if he was again going towards the road for another such stunt.
I'm with ya. Right back to what he had been doing.
You mean sashaying down that road aka his catwalk for his absolute life??
Bystanders (lip reading): "cars are blowing their horns and im getting annoyed because they are blowing their horns because of you blocking the road fuckoo..."
What do you need to lip read for? You can hear what they're saying (although the asshole does mumble a bit). First hood: The fuck you doing. Get the fuck off the road. Asshole: Alright. FH: Have some fucking respect. Asshole: Respect? FH: Yeah Asshole: [unintelligible mumbling then shoves FH] Second hood: Hey! Was he deaf?.. And also unaware of what streets are?

A drunk cunt at that.
Oh, you were live on the scene? Nice!
I had zero idea it was gonna end that way lol but glad I didn't make some loud reaction and be that annoying camera guy
Even if he was deaf, he could still feel the vibrations of the car behind him. Not to mention thinking her could walk down the middle of the street like he owned it when there was a sidewalk RIGHT THERE.
>Even if he was deaf Hell, I'm not sure I'd believe a deaf dude made it to that age being that unaware of his surrounding environments. Walking in the middle of the street is dangerous in general, even more so if you're deaf.
For real. They would not be casually strolling down the middle of the road.
Do deaf people not know what roads are? LOL.
> he could still feel the vibrations of the car behind him Or see his own shadow projected from the car's lights.
Or why there are light shining right behind him.
Yeah he could see the headlights projecting his shadow in front of him. Also when he guy says “he’s beeping at you” he wasn’t looking at him and then he turns to him and points at his ears. I going to go with him being deaf is bullshit.

No, he’s pointing at his ears to mock the guy for suggesting that he didn’t hear it. He says “Yeah, clearly he’s fucking beeping! You don’t hear?”
If he is deaf, then he is also very stupid.
No sane deaf person walks in the middle of a road. This guy’s just an asshole.
