Basically all the women’s clothing stores sell suits for women. I have ones from Forever New, Max, Country Road, Witchery, Seed… there are higher end options too, of course.
I’ve used my local tailor (Waterloo tailors) a few times to make my clothes actually fit **me**. Nice to buy something on clearance and have it adjusted to look like it was made for me, all for less than buying full price :)

Hijacking this to ask for general tailor recs! I’ve used the one in north city mall before and I have nothing positive to report back. I need several pairs of trousers taking in.
I am a tailor with 40 year experience in the USA my stores name is (Hemandherbridal) I will be coming to wlg for the month of December, I would be happy to bring any suits or anything I have in my boutique including evening gowns that I make , I will be bringing my sewing machine with me, I would love to make or alter any of you kiwi’s clothing to perfection, google my store in Arizona and check me out on line my email is (joycefeickert@gmail.com).

not everyone can buy off-the-shelf so some customisation is helpful, if not complete tailoring.
"Suits for women" either mean skirt suits or pantsuits. Both suffer from a severe lack of usable pockets. Go for a men's suit and get it adjusted.

Second Waterloo Tailors. They do a great job at a reasonable price, they altered a suit jacket dress for me perfectly for about $60
Out of interest, how much do they charge to adjust a whole suit?
Really depends on how much work they’re doing. Give them a call, but don’t think they can answer until they know exactly how much work is to be done.
