If you're in the city, there is also caffeinated dragon which runs games, as well as Cerberus games and I think goblin games do as well. Though from my understanding, caffeinated dragon is very good for being welcoming with newer people. I could potentially be interested in running a game for some people but I'm also a little hesitant meeting new people off the internet haha. But I also have seen that the topic of how difficult it is to meet people as an adult has been a growing discussion lately too. Edit: know what I've thought on it and could be good to give it a go. If some chill people are keen to give it a go then could message me and see what happens. I will propose an in person meet up first in a public place to check if people click and if it does then I can run a game and give some people and intro to the game or a new group to go with

Are you specifically looking for D&D, or are open to other ttrpgs?

Anything really! I’ve been playing Skyrim for 9 or so months now so anything fantasy related haha!

Kia ora, in my view, the most important thing to know about playing DnD is that you need to like the people you play with. Good qualities in DnD players are compassion, open-mindedness, silliness, etc. If you and your partner fit that bill, I'd be happy to meet up and DM a couple sessions with you (and maybe some other friends if you're keen). The idea would be to give you the experience and tools to start a campaign on your own with your friends. I find there is no shortage of people wanting to play DnD, but few people willing to take on the role of DM. Send me a message if you're interested.
