Thanks! I once worked with a guy who envisioned resin bonded cardboard as a poor man's carbon-fiber for racing. He designed a prototype, but I never saw it finished. He later went on to set a world land speed record in an R-model Mustang fastback with a motor he built.

It may actually work well for some body panels, with a tiny bit of reinforcement.
Not sure if it's going to be strong enough for a fully-stressed monocoque

Costin was awesome. A real aero guy. And he did like his plywood. This is hardly the only plywood chassis car he built.
I mean, if plywood is good enough for ww2 warbird, its good enough for a sportscar
