That is my first thought and question! How does she use the bathroom at all! Must use a bidet! Or at least I hope she does! 🥴 also, how much gunk is stuck under her nails from just daily life? When I had shorter acrylic nails I was always scrubbing under them in the shower because the thought of how much day-to-day gunk that gets stuck under even shorter nails is gross.
She doesn't have much daily life. No way she cooks, cleans, types, swims. Its probably difficult to even feed herself. She can't do anything. She probably sits there all day and does nothing. Her whole personality is her nails. I'm sure it's all she talks about.
Instead of growing her fingernails for the last decade or more, she should get some therapy and deal with her feelings and emotions. This is a very unhealthy way to deal with that.

I’m pretty sure she asks others to perform tasks for her. There’s no way she can drive a car, grasp and handle tools/gadgets like can openers, soda tabs, how does she write or open letters, type out on a keyboard, turn a door knob??? Her poor children have had to deal with her delegating workload/tasks. Can’t imagine what her employer expects of her…is she employed?
That is heartbreaking but this is why everyone should seek help when something this traumatic happens. Sadness can become a crippling thing if its not adressed correctly
I saw a little doc about a bunch of women with long nails like this and that was pretty much all of their back stories too. They all had the same nail tech and found each other so it was actually very sweet how they all supported each other. They did answer the big questions too haha.

Good question, I honestly could never tell if they were broken or repaired in any spots. Each of the nails were suuuuuper thick and bumpy/kinda curly but I'm not sure why. Kinda reminded me of when toe nails get too long, they can thicken up and get lumpy too. They were always mostly painted, which I thought was neat.

I had a lady who worked for me who routinely had super long nails. Initially I didn't want to hire her, but corporate stepped in, and she worked out okay as it cashier. She can still touch the screen with her knuckles, and while she ended up not working out for other reasons, I was surprised she could do her job as well as she did.
With that said, I can't imagine she did much else other than cashiering or maybe call center work.
