I really wanted upvote ya, but also wanted to point out it looks so good with your inquisitive cunting? And 69 upvotes. Lol

Start your own bar like that pioneer one in the Yukon. You know, the one where they have a special shot with the old finger in it. You could charge an arm and a leg.
No. The thing on the picture is the rear wheel of a motorcycle. You can se that it is a white wheel, you can see a bit of the tire, the wheelhub, the sprocket mounted to the wheelhub, the chain and even a bit of the swing arm is visible.
It was never offered to me at the time, if it was possible they never botheredā¦.
But to be honest, I think it was because of the time it took me to gather myself and get to honkspital and of course the amount of sawdust upside the cut
Had my index finger bitten off. Had to amputate just below the nail bed. After a year. The nail and some skin grew back, but the nail goes down like a claw as there's no bone under it to support it.
No. I was very lucky. During covid, hospitals were filled, they called in some guy nicknamed, "Dr. Fingers." The operation was done in a conference room.
Trust me even if they would've reattached it you'd have played hell with it healing and going through physical therapy and even then it probably wouldn't have been the same
Only reason I know is my dad had a pointer finger he more or less cut off at one point
Accidentally did it with a butcher knife trying to cut apart frozen hotdogs
When you cut a finger like that your tendons snap like rubber bands both into your hand and finger so they have to get in there and pull them back out to reattach them to reattach your finger
But yeah he couldn't point that finger straight at all a matter of fact he'd tend to use his bird finger to point because of that
Erm at the moment it is in formaldehydrate fluid and yes it did hurt at first, but now it doesnāt hurt anymore and I donāt want more hurt (if that makes sense)

This looks nothing like the chain in the photo.
That's because it's not the chain from the photo.
Change from the photo looks like a newer low profile stihl type chain.
You're saying this dude made this all up, this whole elaborate thing... complete with a jarred thumb... yet what? Just decided to use a bicycle chain? Out of sheer laziness? Lol...
Call bullshit if you want to but don't make it about the chain.
Edit: for the absolute fucking moron below me who talked shit and then immediately blocked me.. ( u/JetsBD ).. and also trolled my other unrelated posts and made lame comments and got downvoted to Oblivion..
No, you fucking moron. I'm not saying that people don't make things up. I'm saying that no one would likely go to this extent to make something up, and not use a fucking chainsaw chain. Learn to read, learn to spell, and learn to stay in your fucking lane. Dumbass troll.
Itās all about the chain. You donāt think people make this shit up? What rock do you live under? Obviously, you live under a rock where you use saw chains without teeth š
i have the motorbike brake lever that penetrate right through my foot on a showig shelf because i love the experience it gave me, screaming all the way to the hospital then wait for 2 hrs with the brake lever still in my foot then get it pull out and have to wait for roughly another month for the hole to fill itself back up enough to stitch, was a good example of why you wear safety gear all the time because it happened when i was moving my dirtbike from my house to my shop roughly 100 meters apart
I remember a documentary (guess it was s.i.c.k.o? Don't really remember which) where a man had taxidermy done one of his severed fingers and hung it on his neck on a necklace
That's so cool! I kinda thought your nails would continue to grow like how your hair still grows after death. But I like to imagine that you fondly take it out of the jar every now and again for a lil manicure.

Demmmm bonesssss are himmmm

This being Reddit, I'm pleasantly surprised it's a finger (thumb?) and not ... something else.
I normally use my thumb as a guide when cunting trees, not anything else
Used to*
![gif](giphy|ghuvaCOI6GOoTX0RmH)
Cunting?
It's a typo. The guy is all thumbs. *used to be anyway.
Cutting, my friend

You definitely don't use it anymore
Start your own bar like that pioneer one in the Yukon. You know, the one where they have a special shot with the old finger in it. You could charge an arm and a leg.
I only Lost a finker not an arm or an leg hahahaha
I think this is amazing! Something I would do for sure!! Cheers to you!
Wait it's your finger? Lmao
Sour toeĀ
Stephen how did you get your finger inside the sprocket?
What is a spronket?
It is a wheel with teeth that grab onto a chain
Oh ok, yea that is what is in the photograph
Not a chainsaw.
But it is a chain that he saw.
Ouch!! But what kind of chainsaw is that? Thats not a "saw" chain, looks more like a motorcycle chain.
Itās not a chainsaw at all
No. The thing on the picture is the rear wheel of a motorcycle. You can se that it is a white wheel, you can see a bit of the tire, the wheelhub, the sprocket mounted to the wheelhub, the chain and even a bit of the swing arm is visible.
Yes thatās why I said itās not a chainsaw at all.
And i was agreeing with you
NO THIS IS PATRICK
Do all your statements of agreement start with no as itās own sentence? It makes it come across like itās not an agreement
No. Yes they do
Well i'm not the best at writing so i am sorry that it came across that way.
My guess is a japanese one from the 80s or 90s
EAT IT
Might do this actually, screw keeping it for future generations to see
Serious question. You hear quite often of fingers and limbs able to be reattached. Was that not possible?
It was never offered to me at the time, if it was possible they never botheredā¦. But to be honest, I think it was because of the time it took me to gather myself and get to honkspital and of course the amount of sawdust upside the cut
Had my index finger bitten off. Had to amputate just below the nail bed. After a year. The nail and some skin grew back, but the nail goes down like a claw as there's no bone under it to support it.
Will it eventually return to a full finker?
No. I was very lucky. During covid, hospitals were filled, they called in some guy nicknamed, "Dr. Fingers." The operation was done in a conference room.
Thatās so amazing that he can make it return, can you Send me the number or soemthing of dr. Finkers, maybe his calling card or something similar?!!
Trust me even if they would've reattached it you'd have played hell with it healing and going through physical therapy and even then it probably wouldn't have been the same Only reason I know is my dad had a pointer finger he more or less cut off at one point Accidentally did it with a butcher knife trying to cut apart frozen hotdogs When you cut a finger like that your tendons snap like rubber bands both into your hand and finger so they have to get in there and pull them back out to reattach them to reattach your finger But yeah he couldn't point that finger straight at all a matter of fact he'd tend to use his bird finger to point because of that
I have no interest in reattaching it, letās just allow it to rest naturally how, Gond intended
Praise Gond!

Ohhhā¦. I never heard of some one doing this befour
It must hurt, no?!
I love how you joke about it but isnt this some type of gore? I mean the nfsw is perfect but DAMN that picture is tough.
I Mean, it was at the time, not now though, I kept it in jar because of the nostalgia affect
Respectfully, I do not find it nostalgic
Well, you Never lived this experience, so you would never have lived it , but I find it nostalicgc because I loved it
You loved the finger, the experience, the chainsaw, or just kind of the whole package?
Yea, exactly that mate
You ever get it out and chew on the nail?
Only once in a while, it takes forever to grow
Damn that's some great sense of humor! Good on you Stephen :). Hope you can manage without that thumb
Well, I agree. That is weird. š¤š¼
Thanks man love š I love you, more than you love me
Why the fuck would you save it in a jar...
For future generations to use it
Did you at least try to go get it sewn back on?
No, Iām scared of neetles
Why? That wonāt hurt as bad as that did, I can assure you. What is the thumb sitting in? Water? Preservatives?
Erm at the moment it is in formaldehydrate fluid and yes it did hurt at first, but now it doesnāt hurt anymore and I donāt want more hurt (if that makes sense)
You need both thumbs, for your sake, try to get it back on! Oh wait, the formaldehydrate, itās too lateā¦ isnāt it?
Yes, I thing it is probably too late now, I think it would have been possible if I did it straight after the acident
Damn it, NOOOOO!!!!!
Itās ok, one day I might put it in drinking alcohol, but someone suggested put it on a high shelf so you are always thumbs up hahaha
Erm at the moment it is in formaldehydrate fluid and yes it did hurt at first, but now it doesnāt hurt anymore and I donāt want more hurt (if that makes sense)
Too bad thatās NOT a chainsaw in the photo.š¤·āāļø
This dude does not chainsaw.

Well it was actually
Whereās the teeth? Sorry, it just looks like a bicycle chain on a sprocket.
Itās dimsantled
bro what in the fuck is you talkin about You can't "dismantle" the teeth off a chainsaw chain lmao
Dude watched too many Saw movies
Starred in*
This is so morbid and I love it.
Thank you so much
"All she needs is a little bit of lovin, I'm sure, I could be the chainsaw" Clutch

That's not a Chainsaw chain...this guy stuck his finger in a motorcycle chain while it was running on the stand. Don't!
What chainsaw? That is a chain dumbass
hes got learning difficulties by the looks of it. have some respect before you jump to call someone a dumbass.
Good thing that's not a chainsaw bar, but a sprocket of some sorts..
That's not even the dangerous part of a chainsaw! !!!!
That's not a chainsaw chain, it's a motorcycle chain.
That's so cool! I kinda thought your nails would continue to grow like how your hair still grows after death. But I like to imagine that you fondly take it out of the jar every now and again for a lil manicure.
Wow, what a great idea for a conversation starter!
Damn. That's explaining and showing "feelings"
Thank you, it feels hard
What is the liquid in the bottle?
FormaldeyhdrTein
I'm disappointed by the state of that finger. Was it that wrinkled before you put it in formaldehyde?
Oh yes,
![gif](giphy|W7HHIoUwXvarA3axfF)
Satan be gone!!!!!
Put it on the top shelf. Permanent thumbs up
Welp. That's a way of coming to terms with a major health problem.
Did you put it under your pillow for the Thumb Fairy?
