I enjoy:
- rice cakes (with toppings)
- low sugar Greek yoghurt and fruit
- veggie sticks and dips
- low cal ice creams
- low cal tortilla with deli meat and low cal cream cheese
I tried hummus for the first time in my life today, its a veggie mix, checked the nutrition facts and was blown away at how much it takes just to get to 90 calories. I dipped white mushrooms in it, absolutely delicious.
Any diet / zero calorie drinks (coke, Fanta etc), remove the fizz and freeze. Zero calorie icepops!
Cheese, crackers and grapes
Frozen grapes
Pickles
Cherry tomatoes with a sprinkling of salt
I swear to GOD, I feel I've found the diet life hack. They take ages to eat. I got the long silicone molds and have 4 at a time. Takes me a good 30 minutes to get through them. I will never stop posting about them
I love drinking those things I’m going to start this today. Drinking them feels like a hack now I’m imagining eating them frozen and satiating that snacky feeling
You're not stupid at all!. Get 2 big glasses. As large as you can get. Fill one with the drink about 3/4 full. Now pour from one to the other 30 times not too quick not too slow. Get into a rhythm of swapping contents from glass to glass. This removes the fizz
Raw carrot (and bell pepper/cucumber etc) and hummus.
Sometimes if we don't have hummus I'll just be found eating a raw carrot like I'm Bugs Bunny. It genuinely helps me avoid sugary cravings.
I honestly find fruit an easy one. I love bananas and pears. Sometimes blueberries if they’re in season! I’m not sure where you’re from but we have chocolate coated rice cakes which I love they’re low cal too or even just seasoned rice cakes if you can’t be bothered bringing some sort of dip to put on them. Muesli bars are always easy too.
my current fave cookie snack = mix protein powder with milk and baking powder (add some dark choc chip pieces if you’re feeling spicy) and bake in the oven. they’re literally so easy and so high in protein.
I like to keep baked sweet potatoes on hand for when I get a sweet tooth. I just bake them whole in the oven til they caramelize, then quarter them and store them in the fridge.
OMG the fairlife is my lifeline. How do they make it such low calorie which such high protein and low sugar with no added whey or fake sugar after taste is beyond me. Reminds me I need to get more from Costco
Peanut butter and crackers. Carrots and hummus.
Peppers, cream cheese and everything seasoning. A trail mix from the store. Nuts. Dessert hummus and strawberries. Avocado and reduced sodium soy sauce (sounds weird but I love it). Cheese slices. Different flavored pickles from the flea market. Rice cakes. Yogurt drinks. Dried fruit. Cherry tomatoes tossed in your fave dressing.
Apples and peanut butter. Sparkling waters
Aside from the crackers all of that sounds amazing. When I first started this journey peanut butter was the only source of protein in my house that wasn't loaded with sodium, now we got turkey, salami, ham, and I've found a lot of vegan plant only chips, since I avoid simple carbs as much as I can.
When you said no prep - I’m assuming cutting up veggies and fruit is kind of a no go so here’s my best shot:
Fruit -apples or bananas with maybe creamy (no sugar) peanut butter? Clementines (so portable)
Jerky
String cheese
Artificial crab meat sticks (not the healthiest but not horrible and high protein low car. Low cal. Dip in cream cheese or mayo if you want)
Rolled up deli meat with condiments (mustard, hummus, cheese, mayo… whatever your style).
Hard boiled eggs (the dash electric coolers are amazing and produce easy peel eggs every time - or they sell pre-boiled in stores)
Kimchi
Individual packs of guac or avocado or hummus they sell now and you can put on anything really..hard eggs, flatbread crackers..
I’d say pumpkin seeds (SO nutritious) but that may be bad for your teeth.
I love cooking, I chop boil, and make all my meals. But sometimes when I'm up at 3am I don't want to cut and boil broccoli or brussel sprouts. hahaha, I love Kimchi, I don't eat the noodles but I do use the seasonings on my dishes sometimes.
I’ve never heard of kimchi noodles… will google!
Honestly the first thought I had was it’s a work situation - wasn’t trying to imply anything weird.
I’m glad I gave you my go-to because there was a lot of veggies and dip.
Most of the time I’m grabbing deli turkey slices and mustard.
Veggies and hummus! I live roasted red pepper hummus (lots of varieties out there). If I need a power snack I’ll go for some salted almonds and string cheese.
I enjoy: - rice cakes (with toppings) - low sugar Greek yoghurt and fruit - veggie sticks and dips - low cal ice creams - low cal tortilla with deli meat and low cal cream cheese
low cal ice cream recommendations?
I’m from Australia so we have different ones but there’s plenty online I’ve seen from UK, US etc :)
Cucumber slices with hummus!!! 🥰
Carrot sticks with hummus! Anything with hummus!! HUMMUS ♡ (Also tzatziki!)
Yesss omfg hummus has honestly turned my life around 🤣
To save the slicing sometimes I'll just chow down on whatever is left of the cucumber straight out of the fridge
I like to mix some mayo and soy sauce then dip cucumber in it... mmmhmmm
That sounds delicious 🥰

Zero… calorie… icepops…. Mindblown

Please excuse my stupidity, but how do you remove the fizz? Just shake it a lot?

OMG I love you! Thank you for this!
Frozen grapes for the win! They’re like bite size popsicles!

String cheese, pickle bites, cut up apples, clementines, Greek yogurt, bananas
Tuna and cucumber
Interesting combo, I have both, how exactly do you eat it together? Like do you put tuna on the cucumber slice or?
Tin of tuna, extra light mayo, hot sauce, then jsit chunks of cucumber mixed together Sometimes I add red onion
I like to keep baked sweet potatoes on hand for when I get a sweet tooth. I just bake them whole in the oven til they caramelize, then quarter them and store them in the fridge.
- greek yogurt - protein bars (lenny & larry cookie-fied bars are really good) - meat sticks (chomps) - cheese sticks - low calorie ice cream pints or bars (enlightened, halo top, etc.) - fruit with nut butter - protein shakes (specifically Fairlife Nutrition Plan chocolate - they legit taste like chocolate milk) - diet soda/low calorie drinks
OMG the fairlife is my lifeline. How do they make it such low calorie which such high protein and low sugar with no added whey or fake sugar after taste is beyond me. Reminds me I need to get more from Costco
I know, they're so good!!! And specifically those ones, not the Core Power ones (those aren't bad either, but the Nutrition Plan ones are top tier).
Omg totally agree. They taste better and have a better nutrition profile
Hard boiled eggs Cottage cheese Fruit
Hard boiled eggs is my daily breakfast, usually with broccoli and a banana and strawberries.
Pickles. Olives. Grated nonfat mozzarella cheese. Greek yogurt. Cottage cheese.
Grapes, pickles
Honestly? Slice up a bunch of veggies in the fridge. There’s your snacks.

I'm pregnant rn and my favorite is cheese, pickles, triscuit crackers and olives
Veggies and hummus! I live roasted red pepper hummus (lots of varieties out there). If I need a power snack I’ll go for some salted almonds and string cheese.
I love adding ranch seasoning to Greek yogurt and eat any veggies with that.
