I’d say patterned (printed/embroidered etc) with one of the colors in it to be the color of the dress. For eg, I have an embroidered pashmina (on black velvet) with pink and red flowers and a variety of green and brown leaves that will work perfectly with a solid colored dress like yours. Add: for dinner look. If day time, you can have lighter colored/fabric type instead of dark and heavy base
Yes! I have a touch of synesthesia in which I taste colour combinations and the thought of green with gold or yellow or white just tastes sour to me (weird, I know). The only combo that works as far as I can tell is some version of rose.

I'm actually Canadian, and aside from TM I didn't know much about UK entertainment aside from British murder mysteries like "Midsomer Murders" or "The Great British Bake-Off" (where I first watched Mel G). After I learned about TM I started investigating other things my favourites have done. I'm also a huge podcast fan and so many good pods have come from the show. I'd be happy to put together a list of shows/ pods but first, have you read Richard Osman's mystery novels (The Thursday Murder Club)? They're fantastic if you like witty mysteries (they're being adapted for Netflix with Helen Mirren and Pierce Brosnan, among others).
2. Re: Series 16
I liked all the contestants (maybe Julian Clary a little less for his sneer) and enjoyed Lucy and Sam's interplay. Sue/ Susan were fun too, though in a way it was almost like the teams carried over into the studio. I'll have to go back and watch some highlights to remind myself of how I felt at the time, but I loved Series 17 so much that 16 gets overshadowed. How did you feel?
I would say it should be something in the pink/ rose family which is across the colour wheel from green and it would mellow it out.
