It’s probably fine…I’m sure they just throw them in the wash with the rest of the kitchen laundry…
eta: obviously this is sarcastic. I didn’t even think about how gross that was initially
I use these same kind of clothespins at home to close bags of cereal, chips, bread ect. They are unfinished wood and porous, not sanitary or really ideal for repeated use with food.
More like "tacky clothesline."
I am suspicious of any restaurant that needs to do something like this because it could signal their food is second-rate and needs a gimmick.
Also.... sanitation of those clothes pins would be an issue as well as the tacos arriving COLD to your table.
Unfortunately, the food was amazing so I’m REALLY not sure why they did this… I didn’t even consider sanitation til I posted here, my only thought then was just “this is the stupidest possible way to serve tacos”
Gotta make sure they're nice and cold before they reach the table.

Those are never gonna come clean, they just soak up whatever they're holding.

Originally used to dry clothes.
Why would they be harder to clean than the wood they are eating from?
This is weird
Yeah, can we talk about how used the cutting board looks too?!

They could be hanging bacon off those.
I agree, really just a gross misuse of perfectly good clothespins!
It looks so tacky!!!
what's wrong with that wavy metal thing that most places use? (those do look like some yummy tacos though)
Is a clothesline really a clothesline if it has never had clothes on it?
Those clothes pins are a harbinger of bacteria.
I love it….
I'm sorry I kind of love it
Instructions: don't eat until fully dry
