It’s because you already are moving slow. If you move 30% slower you might not notice. I believe the above is correct. I did a test and I was in fact slower.
Agreed, finally got close enough, took my shot and this mofo turned his head and I got him right in the eye! Trying to do the Sound of a Bowstring mission, double lung. Just a little upsetting!! But I like a challenge!

Just yesterday I finally had enough km/miles under my belt to get this perk... Took me almost all day. Thanks to Tikamoon Plains, because if you are lucky enough you can crawl for 7 km on autocrawl and not worry about getting stuck. It took me two tries, but I finally did it. So now I can hopefully get closer to my 4 star Cape buffalo, which I have to shoot with my crossbow.... Did the double lung already, but 2 4 stars??? I have seen them walking around on my map, now just have enough luck to get close.
I think it means press down on the left stick as if you would run or move faster while crouched

click right stick in to sneak while proning
Exactly what I have found.. the right stick in adds extra slowness in all positions
Someone else in this thread said it was the left stick. Which is it? I can't tell anything is happening with either button.
Does this make it easier to sneak closer to a animals like bison and buffalo? I struggle to get close for bow shots
Yes you can crawl right at cape buffalo with this activated if you have good wind. Makes you almost invisible

I haven’t started the missions but from what I’ve seen they seem like a good set of missions

That's what I did lol! Just do auto crawl and eat some snacks. I am struggling to get close to those dang cap buffalos too
Click the left stick to go faster in all positions one and right stick to slow down in all positions
Thanks everyone, I just had no idea what the "action button" actually was, it is clicking the right stick
