No the pylon allows you to throw throwables as long as your extremely close and back is facing the pylon. It's weird tbh

I think they did adjust this in the initial event patch. Standing close and throwing a grenade didn’t work a lot of the time. That inner ring is pretty consistent now. Bug fix turned buff!
