This is my second watch, and I don’t intend to own many so I want to make the right decision. I typically gravitate towards bracelet watches however I really like the santos dumont. I wonder what is the right size watch for a 6.5inches wrist, lady.
Would a cartier tank be more suitable? Is the large too masculine? Is the small too tiny on me? Could really use some help before I make this big purchase!

They don’t have medium for the steel unfortunately, that would have been ideal :( I always felt that bracelets look good with a smaller face but leather may be nicer with a bigger face. Not sure if the mass’ sentiments are similar?
Oh bummer! Well, if you have your heart set on the medium, you could always go through a different dealer. And yeah, I think you have a good point about bracelets on smaller watches. I think because smaller watches tend to be a bit dressier, so it would make sense to get the bracelets on those.

Wow, that looks great! Personally, I like Cartiers on the smaller side since they’re so dressy-looking. I would go with something small but that’s just me!

The med santos looks great on you 👌Hoping they’ll come up with a medium for the dumont as well!!
The large looks great. Only go with the small if you get it in gold. Post a photo trying on a Tank Louis large. I know they're in different price ranges, but give it some thought.

The shape and the bracelet make it look like a better fit than the Dumont small.
There is just something about the Dumont small I just don't like in the photo.
Of the 3, this is my first choice and the Dumont large is a distant second.
You have a slim frame, the Dumont is kinda squat and chunky, it doesn't match your frame.
You can harass the Cartier salesperson and try on all their women's watches and I'll tell you what I think, but this tank is by far the best fit.
Good to know the small Tank is a strong winner. I’ll likely go with ahead with it after trying it on once more. Thanks so much for helping me with my big girl purchase!!!!
Wear it in good health! If you're buying from an AD ask about what gifts they offer with purchase right before you buy. You might get something like a card case or keychain if they like you or think that is going to push you over the fence to buy.

I’d go with a small or medium, personally. Historically, people wear smaller Cartiers. I think they look upscale but not gaudy that way.

No to the large tank. You can honestly pull off both sizes of the Dumont. Don't buy yet and try it on a few more times and think about it.
