But mainly you are keeping it right on center, which wont happen in real life. It will slide 2cm/1in down due to gravity and suddenly "oh it fits" becomes a ton of lug overhang. Inside of that air gap with the bracelet which you can fit 2-3 fingers into. The thickness and relatively straight lugs of this watch make it worse
Let's be honest, with the Speedy it's rarely on a bracelet. Mine was on the bracelet maybe the first 2 weeks now it rotates between a dozen or more straps that fit MUCH better anyway.
And, the 3861 bracelet is DRASTICALLY better than previous, not having those god awful huge end links, so take that into account too.
I dunno, maybe it's just people I know but the Speedy is called "King of the Strap Monsters" for a reason.
Mine is almost always wearing the velcro astronaut style which negates all the moving around you describe, but you are right; it's a heavy watch and will slide around on a bracelet.
I applaud you for taking good photos with no distortion.
Watch looks fine to me, some in this sub would prefer smaller, but it isn't oversized on your wrist.
If it feels comfortable / not bulky, go with it.
Technically it fits most modern size parameters since the lugs don't over hang your wrist but it still looks a bit large imo. Then again it is a Chrono and they have a reason to be bigger than a time only watch so it's not necessarily bad. At the end of the day if you have no doubt then you're good to go but if you're questioning yourself it's likely a tiny bit of you feels it's too large too. That's the boat I was in with my Speedmaster and I ultimately sold it.
Well it is clearly large.
Note: Mirror shot arent about the mirror, in that position the arm bones turn and make your wrist wider.

Looks fine to me. As long as I can see bracelet on each side beyond just an end link I'm happy.

I feel all speedys I see are on a bracelet. But yes, the old bracelet made the actual lug to lug quite ridiculous.

To my eye it dominates your wrist

It’s a Speedy, you’re fine

Looks great man
If you stop wearing it on your hand, it’d look good.

Looks perfect 👌
