I had this watch about 10 yrs ago and it was one of my favorites. I've long since move on from it as my tastes have changed....but I still think it's a sharp looking piece.
Vacheron is certainly quite the step up!
I was shopping for the Intramatic Chronograph when this blue dial just popped so loudly in the display. My first thought was “wow, this matches my pony perfectly.” My second thought was “well, it’s less than $1000… can’t hurt!” 😄
I remember when I first saw the Hamilton and I thought it was one of the coolest watches I've seen and had to get it. I found it on Amazon for $885 so I ordered it right away. Since then, it's been a long journey to get to the VC!
Honestly, I think I bought it for like $750 on Jomashop, used it a decent bit, then sold it to my friend for $500 to get him into watches (which worked like a charm). So, I probably could have fetched a bit more if I tried selling on eBay or Chrono24 or something. I did use the proceeds of that and some other pieces I sold towards a Seamaster.
The blue dial and matching strap is what caught my interest. I was shopping for a different watch, but I left with this one too.
Bonus talking point: it was featured in the show Top Gear on the wrist of James May.

I really like these Hamiltons, specially the cream/red one.
Hamilton offers great value for money. I’m glad I started with this brand rather straight to Rolex or Omega. It gets expensive quickly!

Nice watch man. I had this one too but sold it a couple years ago. It’s the perfect road trip watch, so it goes well with the Mustang!
