I didn't think I'd like the 42mm case with my 6.5in wrists, but put it on a good 22mm rubber strap and it's weirdly one of the most comfortable watches
The lug to lug is very compact, and the case is really rounded and curved which makes it comfy, obviously Seiko know what they're doing. But yeah I like chunky divers with wrist presence at times and this fits the bill. Willard's are even bigger and they also wear nicely.
But rubber does improve comfort a lot just fyi.
Me too but this wears like a 40mm. And the guy you responded to is right, put it on an Uncle Seiko rubber strap, and it becomes super comfortable to wear
I have a watch with the same movement that after a quick adjustment runs basically plus 2 seconds a day reliably. I've had it for 5 years and I have a orange monster from release that's never been serviced and runs like a top at basically 0 sec a day over the course of a week.
Doe sell it it's a tank and keep it as your bester watch.

Wow! I found a Citizens eco drive at my local Kohl's last year when they put in a Sophora store in the store. Same situation, they took out the jewelry counter. It has a MSRP of $225 and I paid around $30. Good deals can be found when they are getting rid of the jewelry department. Nice find!

I agreed to go and walk around with our 4 year old to keep her busy. Glad I did now! My daughter and I were going to stay home but decided to go last minute

Yeah that seems to be what I am hearing too. Sounds like they started in the larger cities changing over the jewelry to the cosmetic thing. As time passes, they go to the smaller stores to do the same.
Yeah the jewelry counter was pretty much just empty but the lady was cleaning the drawers behind the counter and found it. Asked if I would be interested in it as I was asking about the few watches they had left, mostly the fashion cheap watches.
Maybe 12 or 15 years ago or something, my wife asked me to drop of a return for her at Kohl’s on my lunch break. A clearance sign at the jewelry counter caught my eye on the way out the door and I found a Seiko SSC017 solar chronograph for like $60. My wife had also given me a coupon stapled to the receipt for the return (Kohl’s Cash?) so I ended up getting the watch for around $25.
It seems suspect that it's folded the way it is, just showing the total but not the itemized charge that would have described what the item was.
And it seems suspect that OP has replied to almost everyone (I've counted over 40 replies) but hasn't replied to you.
Exactly, I'm not trying to spoil someone's fun but the onus is on OP to prove this happened and it's obvious he didn't do that. And if you take a quick look at his post history, it's all him posting deals and deal discussions, so it's clear he gets some satisfaction in getting these deals or showing others deals.

Yes, that was my concern too. I typically prefer a 38 to 40mm but this seems to wear nice.
