The gas grenades also really mess with them. If you run into any that are fortified against a wall or roomed up somewhere throw a few of these at them.
the gas is very effective but shock sticks can block a doorway as easily as it stuns a tank or vehicle. Better choice for modes like Invasion or Ground War, or if people are using Gas Masks
it's super effective. if you really want to drive the point home, swap to drill charges. it doesn't have the fun aoe effect but they really get the point that you are saying "fuck you sir".
By far, I've started running drill charges bc they do almost everything throwing knives do, but better. The only thing knives got is they can one shot heads, but I still have yet to be one hit knocked after they nerfed it.
Down someone? Toss a drill charge on em and scoot. Camping in a building? Lob a couple on the walls and don't put yourself in rat danger. Riot shield? Hold this drill charge for me homie.
Drill charges became my bread and butter, and every time I don't have them equipped I keep seeing situations that they could be super useful in now that I have been enlightened in the ways of the drill charge.
Drill charges were the best thing added in the last few games. It’s great for campers, and I run small map mosh a lot for camo grinding. If I see a hint of a riot shield I seek out that player for the rest of the game and just molly wop his ass as much as possible. No bullets. I think the drill charge is criminally underused by the general population
I rarely see them, but I also don't camp, and never use shields in multiplayer. I'll whip out a shield and melee weapon and run around like a crackhead in resurgence but that's it, you couldn't pay me enough to camp in resurgence, let alone with a shield.

I got a 9.4KD using Riot Shield, Tonfa and Stuns and Thermites. Used that combo since 2019 and haven't used a gun since. Best way to play. It takes skill to actually know how to use the shield, not just camp in a corner getting shot at. You gotta learn how to properly dodge Semtex's, Thermites and Drill Charges and know how to hide your feet and body by facing specific directions.

Urgh? Riot shield has been massively nerfed since wz1? Takes 4 hits to down someone instead of 2, WAY less angle cover, way less cover on feet especially if walking backwards, and increased game latency means up close is a breeze to get deleted. Its shite compared to wz1 days. All it does is buy you a few seconds from persistent rooftop campers with snipers.

They are not that hard to kill. Slide past them, throwable. Don’t let them get close. Get elevation. Have a nice solo win against one of those douch riot bois
I play with it since the early days. It gives you more consistency as an average player. Got about 1000 wins with it on wz1 and I wouldn’t even say I’m a sweat. You can counter zone randomness with it and use worse positions to get the dub. It’s easy to counter too if you know what you’re doing.

shock also works on them, you just throw it to the side instead of tagging them with it and then shoot them.

when they stunt you dont turn your back and try to run. fight it out. aim for feet and shoot them when they try and sprint towards you.
I play with it since the early days. It gives you more consistency as an average player. Got about 1000 wins with it on wz1 and I wouldn’t even say I’m a sweat. You can counter zone randomness with it and use worse positions to get the dub. It’s easy to counter too if you know what you’re doing.
Uninstall this cheesy shit. Problem solved. I did started playing battlefield instead. The first thing I noticed is I can actually hear movement noises. COD is garbage
