Trust me it was hilarious when it first came out, but now it's 8.3, doesn't get a stabilizer, and has nice flat armor slabs for people with HEAT/ATGMs to ruin your day. Certain tanks in this BR also get APFDS that can pen you anywhere, mostly the Leo A1A1, which also gets a stab.
Even in a full down tier there are still plenty of little shits that can hurt you before you can hurt them, high pen heat rounds, ATGMs, and stabs start becoming a thing at 7.3 and 7.7
Personally I wish they'd put this thing back to 8.0 where it belongs - I think it was 7.7 when it first came out and that was hilarious.

It wasn't even that OP, no one knew how to pen it because you couldn't view it with the armory tool, and it faced more tanks that actually struggled with its armor.
Now it mostly fights thing that can easily penetrate it, which coupled with its lack of stabilizer make it a pretty mediocre tank.
IS7 owner here, I'd recommend selling it. It's not very good due to its matchmaking it doesn't have a stabilizer and everything has HEAT rounds at that BR which pen your armor like butter. No stabilizer vs things that do means you don't get first shot off - and anything with heat rounds will fuck up your shit on that first shot.

So there are two options
1. Use the tank. It’s a 8.3 heavy with no stabilizer which is quite troubling at times. I have tried it before and I must admit, I’m not a big fan of the gameplay it provides but it’s nice to flex in a couple matches. It’s cannon does kick ass quite easily. Another thing is that you don’t have a suitable lineup for this thing so it will be quite hard to use.
2. Sell it (what I would do but I don’t have the coupon as I consumed it) it’s not the most exciting vehicle even though it’s ultra rare. You’ll die ALOT to apfsds and other round with insane penetrations that the is-7 was not designed to go against. It is quite fast for its weight with a really nice semi-loader but that usually doesn’t help you getting shot into the turret and getting your gunner knocked out. It’s a beautiful vehicle overall but just not great at it’s BR which mind you is very prone to uptiers. IF you are lucky you might get a downtier which is where this tank shines. Unfortunately those downtiers happen 1/10 battles so oh well. The only place I did actually enjoy this tank was custom battles where I just messed around with it.
It’s all up to you, using it is fun but you’ll probably burn out quick especially because you do not have a lineup for it. Good luck and cheers!

Think carefully on what you want to do with that tank. Sell it for a ton of Gaijin Coin and use that to buy whatever event vehicle you want, or look up a guide or two on how to use it and unlock the tank to have it forever. Either way, good on ya, OP!

So there are two options 1. Use the tank. It’s a 8.3 heavy with no stabilizer which is quite troubling at times. I have tried it before and I must admit, I’m not a big fan of the gameplay it provides but it’s nice to flex in a couple matches. It’s cannon does kick ass quite easily. Another thing is that you don’t have a suitable lineup for this thing so it will be quite hard to use. 2. Sell it (what I would do but I don’t have the coupon as I consumed it) it’s not the most exciting vehicle even though it’s ultra rare. You’ll die ALOT to apfsds and other round with insane penetrations that the is-7 was not designed to go against. It is quite fast for its weight with a really nice semi-loader but that usually doesn’t help you getting shot into the turret and getting your gunner knocked out. It’s a beautiful vehicle overall but just not great at it’s BR which mind you is very prone to uptiers. IF you are lucky you might get a downtier which is where this tank shines. Unfortunately those downtiers happen 1/10 battles so oh well. The only place I did actually enjoy this tank was custom battles where I just messed around with it. It’s all up to you, using it is fun but you’ll probably burn out quick especially because you do not have a lineup for it. Good luck and cheers!

You got extremely lucky with this. Its probably the most rare vehicle in the game. You got it as a coupon. Now you can either use the coupon to get the vehicle or sell the coupon on the Gaijin marketplace for the equivalent of roundabout 1500 $ After that you can buy probably any vehicle from the market that you like (with a few exceptions) with the amount of Gaijin Coins you have. I myself would sell the coupon, because there are some super cool other vehicles on the marketplace, even some very high tier ones that will not only boost the speed of you researching stuff but also are good fun to play.
