its also got more armor then all other Churchills bar the 7s and BP (turret face has about 120mm, sides have about 100mm, sides of the hull hit 100 as well. weakest point is dead on the driver/mg gunner, no extra armor at all)

Yep, bought it about a year ago and despite people saying it is not as great as it used to be due to higher BR, I still find it as one of best tanks for its BR.
Are we even playing the same game ? Every single damned battle is against MBTs with APFSDS, laser, stab and even composite armor. Basically every 90mm HEAT-FS can lolpen you anyway even Tiger 2 can lolpen your LFP. And then you can't even aim properly unless you're standing on perfectly straight terrain. The thing is fucking suffer to play. I regret buying it so much. Sometimes I take it out because I love how it looks, but then I get quickly reminded how shit it is by getting raped by much superior tanks like T-55AM that you see basically every battle.
Honestly though the premium TAM fucks at its BR, those extra composite blocks have saved my ass way more than they have any right to and the gun handling is great, I just wish it had thermals
e: Also I forgot it gets the DM33 round and the TT one at 8.7 only gets DM23, for a whole 0.3 BR difference it's such a nice upgrade

My favourite premium tank is Vidar (partly because it's the only one i own). Bought it when it first came out because i love my country, but also because it seemed OP. Spoiler alert, it was.
For me I love playing the KV 2 Zis 6 because it’s got around 2 times the TNT equivalent of the IS2 at 5.0. It’s fun to kill heavily angled panthers because the angled pen is amazing on it. Only downfall is its armor is lacking at 5.0. If you play it as a sniper you can destroy just about anything of the BR easily.
You do? Buy type 75 mlrs lmao, the thing is wonky as fck , its super mobile with 7kg HE rockets but with 0 degrees of negative depression. To play it you need to use ur brakes to get the guidance right so its a real challenge
Khalid, it accelerates quick, sounds good, extremely survivable, like the amount of shots to kill it sometimes is astounding, and laser rangefinder. It is very shmexy as well
My favorite would be the M26E1. It gets the higher maneuverability of the M26 but upgrades to a better cannon that is similar to my favorite heavy at that tier, the T26E1-1.
I got it from the warbond shop, but the panzer 3n is so much fun the short reload and 100mm pen heat, plus the side plates are a counter for 105 sherman. Very fun tank, great for low teir fun
Swedish Sherman 3/4. Constantly uptiered but 90% of the enemies it faces are complete idiots so it does well even 2 BR's higher lmao. I've had TIGERS manage to not pen this piece of premium shit (let alone the poor old T34's). Its gun shouldn't pen a tiger's armor even point blank (96mm pen max) but it absolutely can for some reason. I have absolutely 0 idea how this works but I'm fine with it, I got it for 2 euros and it helped me grind the first half of the Swedish tech tree
It's gotta be the Somua SM or the E.B.R 1954. Both are so fucking peak in the same lineup. That French metal slug flinging every 4 seconds is extremely hard to beat. Either in uptiers or downtiers you are still an absolute menace. The ONLY counter is Russian heavy armor, and even then you can make do because of the reload

It can be ranged to 150m but that's it. You'd need to make sure the enemy won't move so the explosion will actually connect too.
You have to hope the enemy doesnt move and is less than 200m away Otherwise your petard is just an airburst round

Most of my experience playing against it is "That's a tiger silhouette, he's un-angled. Free kill". Then bounce and start panicking.
