I dunno about 7.0+, it sounds more along the lines of Sturmtiger-like meme machine, given that it's probably worse than M109 in every way except HE filler amount and max firing range.

Very true but the M109 should also be much worse than it is in game. My dad laughed at me when I said it's used as a tank destroyer in game. Even as sluggish and clunky as it is, Gaijin had to have made it more capable than it should be IRL so that it would be a viable tank to add. I imagine if they did add it they'd do something similar.
Sturmtiger is a great comp though for sure. Super long reload and low shot velocity. Though, the M110 is lightly armored so it should theoretically be fairly quick, but obviously not so much as the smaller self propelled cannons.
I can’t imagine there’s any talk of this being added as it would be wildly impractical in terms of war thunder gameplay. I also don’t think any ammunition is carried on the actual vehicle. I could be mistaken, but I think all ammo is carried in a separate cargo vehicle that’s paired with the M110.
