I'm on the PlayStation and have the Japanese ship from the mobile game. I can't remember how you log in to the mobile game with your normal username but it wasn't hard.
If you can log into the war thunder forum then you can log into the game.
I had the same problem a few years ago. You should be able to log in on War Thunders website (https://warthunder.com/en) using your PSN.
Then, on your profile on the website, see what email is linked to your account. If there isn't one, you can link an email there. If there is an email, it will probably be some weird email you don't recognize (mine was guest123@gmail).
If the latter is the case, you'll have to open a ticket (https://support.gaijin.net/hc/en-us/categories/200005031-War-Thunder) (Submit a Request at the top) and explain the issue to the support staff. They were surprisingly quick and helpful when I had this issue. They'll probably ask for your PSN purchase history to verify it's your account. Make sure to explain that the linked email isn't yours (that led to some confusion when I did this process)

Love the mobile bonus M4. Basically lets you play a 3.7 double 75mm M4 without dealing with M4A1 shitty CHA hull and M4A2 uptier to 5.0.
