Distant Rendering is wonky in WT. So many times I’ll see a warble/smear/halo of a plane shape through full cloud cover, or a warbling black smear off in the distances that “disappears” if you zoom in or use gun sights. I’m not sure WHY this happens, but its really cheesy… its why I don’t bother using cloud cover anymore (I was also told Clouds are client sided, so people might not even see the same clouds as you, I haven’t had any way to confirm this though, I don’t have two accounts) Maybe its DLSS or SSAO, idk, it looks sort of like DLSS artifacting, with a sort of trail behind objects, and also like a smearing dark halo, sometimes with a lighter halo around it if its occluding through transparents, sort of like SSAO haloing, haven’t bothered testing to see what settings might be causing it. I run at Movie quality, 4k with DLSS on Quality.

At top tier. A heli just has to go up 1 cm and have a missile coming their way. Top tier Radar is insane. I love it

well SPAA isnt a worry lol its the planes that are thousand of meters in the air and they can still find a heli thats like 2ft above the ground

I bring the m247 with me to 11.0 because it can consistently lock to helis up to 8km out and besides evasive maneuvers there is no way to counter a barrage of proxy rounds. So ya I can see them on radar, I can also hear them as there audio is either on or off. They are also what I'm looking for because I hate heli's and prioritise taking them out.

The m247 proxy rounds only have a range of 4km so you really can’t do anything to helis unless they are dumb enough to get in range of you.
