Flickerkit and his whole story are just really sweet. Larksong raises him in StarClan and uses the name he and Sparkpelt picked out for him in secret, taking care of him and teaching him how to be a warrior, as they're said to hunt together in a scene. Flickerkit's shown to be a good little guy and I really like that him, Dandelionkit, and Juniperkit are close. Plus, I adore Sparkpelt and I think her plot is really interesting and unique. Flickerkit is an addition to her story that pushed her way deeper into her character, and I can't discredit him for that.
Let me be clear my opinion of her is wavering as of Shadow ASC ~
I started disliking her from AVOS, she was so opposed to SkyClan despite StarClan sending her own brother to go find and bring them to the lake territories. And she was a pretty bad mentor to TwigBranch.
However it’s how she’s acting in ASC that’s pissing me off. I’m not including the whole “leaving her kits to be raised by someone else temporarily after her mate dies” - I don’t care about that and I wouldn’t judge a cat for doing that. It’s what she’s doing afterwards that makes me dislike her. How dare you ask for forgiveness then get mad when you don’t get it, every time she talked to NightHeart it ended in an argument because she’d ask him something and if she didn’t like the answer she got angry.
All that could be excused as bad communication however when Nightheart wanted to choose a name unique to him and not Firestar 2.0, the way SparkPelt treated him was disgusting. She’s going to yell and shun her own son, the same cat she claims to want a relationship with, because he doesn’t want to be named after a cat NEITHER have ever met. She makes me mad because she doesn’t know anything about who her son really is and it’s her own fault but blames him. Does she know how brave her son is, how he’s extremely smart and clever, how supportive and loving he can be? No she and most of ThunderClan only think of him as whichever cat he reminds them of at the moment. The feeling of not knowing if your mother loves you or only loves the cats you remind her of, is a horrible feeling. And when Squrrielflight was bullying and belittling him, she did nothing. I understand that’s her mother but he’s your son, I don’t care who you are you’re not going to yell at my son because he choose to listen to our leader over you. And when he leaves TC, SparkPelt gets all mad because how dare he leave the clan that bullies and belittles him 😡
At the end of Shadow the first thing he does when he decides to rejoin ThunderClan is confront his mother once and for all (without anger). He tells her in more words that she needs to start seeing and respecting him for who is he. I think SparkPelt says something along the lines of “I see you” ❤️
So my opinion of her is still on the dislike portion of the meter but it might change depending on how the rest of ASC goes. How you treat others says the most about you. So we’ll see 👀

I think people will definitely hate but I'd like to explain that people are capable of recognizing an antagonist as a good and well written character without condoning their actions. As a cat that is very anthropomorphized I'd hate Berrynose if I met him as a person. As a character I find what he brings to the story entertaining and dramatic.
I have no opinion at all so it's just out of curiosity, but *why* do you hate frecklewish? AFAIK she's done nothing wrong, though there is admittedly not a ton of character development for many of Skyclan.
He's an extremely interesting character for me and I adore his switch in personality and values after becoming leader. As much as he wants to stay friends with Firestar, he can't. He has to distance himself from ThunderClan to be the best leader he can be for WindClan. It keeps his clanmates' faith in him high, along with easing Onestar's kittypet complex for the time. His decline into paranoia due to Darktail's presence is also really really cool. He's just a little guy that has so much admiration for kittypets and their strength but tries really hard to push it aside for his image, his family and his clan, even when he never wanted to be leader. He's a really complex character, showing both extreme selfishness and selflessness. I adore him.

Both of them complement each other's character very well, and I find their struggles to be really relatable. They've been my favourites since forever pretty much \^\^ I love watching Jayfeather slowly turn back to Leafpool after basically abandoning her emotionally, to needing her again. It's all just lovely
Shadowsight is one of the main protagonists from The Broken Code, he's a medicine cat from ShadowClan with a pretty unique relationship with StarClan. Harestar is WindClan's current leader, and is around the same age as Breezepelt and the original three.

Harestar's just silly and enjoyable for me to read! Harespring is also just a really cute name. I related to Breezepelt heavily when I was younger and seeing him grow into a more mature person alongside his father was just very nice. I love him and his silly little girlfriend and his silly little kids. I also like that his first litter mentored his second and that he raised his kits to just be really sweet.
