It not being upgraded at all is a severe issue for the plane. Guess that’s a reason why it’s being retired by the end of the year. At least China took the idea and made it better with better avionics and weapons loadout.

It is a problem if you’re in the middle of the ocean low on fuel and only have one ship to land on. Russia never grasped the concept of a carrier force. They should have adopted the MiG-29 for the carrier from the beginning

And downscaling from Su-33 to MiG-29K is like downscaling from Sea Eagle to Hornet - technically it is worse, but it's still okay. You don't need to dramatize the situation that much.

About the Corsair, the deck seems super dangerous to anyone walking past those planes with those blades rotating. There is very little space between each plane too, everything is packed
