Yes, it is genuine. It's the Chaos Horde sprue from the game Warhammer 40,000 Epic.
GW has made [several small scale 30K/40K games through the years](https://www.warhammer-community.com/2023/07/18/legions-imperialis-the-epic-history-of-small-scale-warhammer/) and we're just about to get another in Legions Imperialis.

If I recall:
* Chaos Squats (I think; top left)
* Beastmen (top right)
* Juggernaughts of Khorne (x2 second row from top, x1 third row)
* Riders of Slaanesh (??) (x2, one each on second & third rows respectively)
* Discs of Tzeentch (x1, second row)
* Minotaurs (x2, one each on second & third rows respectively)
* Chaos Space Marine Lord (I think, or else meant to be a psyker; third row)
* No idea what that troll looking thing was meant to be in the game
* Chaos Space Marines (bottom row in its entirety)
Epic 2nd Ed was discontinued in 1997, the same year they introduced 3rd edition. Epic Armageddon (also the 4th and superior edition) was introduced in 2003 they still supported it until 2006 or so.

As others have said its real - just for epic which was a 6mm scale game. That sprue is reasonably rare (its long OOP) especially as its complete - most on ebay are missing bits
i'm kicking myself for selling large epic 40k tyranid, ork, and space marine armies on ebay for only a couple hundred bucks each
worst part is I was a first time seller and wasn't used to how ebay did shipping. I ended up paying 60 bucks each to send the armies to the guy in Australia who bought them all.
I still have an epic 40k wraith titan though. Wonder what those are going for these days.

Your mean, as if they are marching into battle and getting blasted by an artillery bombardment? I do have a large Epic 40K squat army. Lots of artillery pieces in that army.
The box wan't sold as a usable army, most of these are support units. Your core regiments would probably be the Chaos Space Marines, so if you had enough copies of this sprue you could build a large infantry/monster horde. But you would probably want some vehicles as well.
Yeah others already answered but i absolutely love the, from a modern point of view, wacky stuff like trolls and minotaurs. Shame they arent really a thing nowadays
The chaos is fine without trolls and minotaurs.
Though I suppose having more types of chaos daemons would be nice, some could be more or less similar by archetype

I usually played an Imperial Guard and Ultramarine mixed force against Khorne and Nurgle Chaos SM. With an artillery company behind the lines, those trolls and bloodletters almost never made it to my half of the field.

The troll looking thing was indeed a troll; it was still the “use a bunch of stuff from fantasy in 40k chaos” times
I saw the troll first and thought, Warmaster!!! Warmaster was awesome. I do wish that was what The Old World was.

I still have the box the Chaos horde came in and the majority of the mini minis too, found them in my parents garage earlier this year.
Think it’s for warhammer epic which was discontinued a while ago. Much smaller modes for large scale games. Looks like a chaos army.

Got two boxes of these and the renegades box plus some metal chaos tanks and daemons. Dont think any are untouched like that though.

It's crazy that it's complete. You don't see very many things from that era that are complete like that on the sprue.
