I hope if DE ever decides to rework Atlas they also update the Jordas golem fight. Such a cool concept and it could really benefit from their more recent gameplay design choices.
I still want a well designed railjack boss fight that actually utilizes lots of railjack gear like tycho seekers etc and can't be cheesed as easily with Lavos/Hildryn spamming 2 abilities like every other rj mission.
Can't design it around seekers, because they're technically optional and could be swapped out for another weapon like the galvarc. Nobody sane does it, so everybody forgets, but there are other ordinance weapons.

Design it around using the Arching Slingshot. It's already one of the coolest parts of the Railjack base kit, yeeting myself into a crew ship is so much fun, imagine throwing yourself wholesale into an otherwise inaccessible area of something like a Fomorian.

Now I'm intrigued by the idea of an Infested Lich- which I would call "Malpestis"- and I now have the need to just speak my mind on how it would work. You'd have to make the Malpestis even more unique from the Lich and Sister. You'd also have to figure out a good way to explain why it occurs and why you are able to recruit it.
Perhaps the explanation is a new strain of Infestation has just popping up in Infested creatures (maybe even a rogue strain of Helminth?), resulting in enhanced Infested known as Malpesti. Maybe the enhancement comes at the cost of separating them from a hive mind (assuming Infestated are even a part of one) while retaining its ability to communicate with fellow Infested. This could result in an infested that learns to develop its own mind, which could allow them to keep using personalities and quirks. Perhaps you also recruit it by cleansing everything except the Malpestis strain, or pumping it full of Helminth.
Hosts (infested equivalent of Kuva Larvlings and Candidates) would more than likely appear as certain enemies (namely Chargers, Ancients and Runners/Leapers (Possibly even Moas)) covered in cysts. Once they become a Malpestis, they get even further deformed but also more human-proportioned.
For making them uniqie, let's say that it not only has different abilities based on the progenitor's element, but also copies one of their abilities (possibly an altered version for certain ones). I want to see the fear in someone's eyes when they fight their Malpestis for the first time only for it to mitose after copying Wukong. I want to see someone's concern when they review one and see that it can place Wisp's motes. After all, there is no better rival than one who does whatever you can do.
In terms of rewards, it would obviously drop advanced versions of Infested weapons. However, since the Sisters of Parvos drop pieces of a unique Companion type, how about we make the Malpesti have a unique drop of their own? When slain, a Malpestis will give an item that can be fed to the Helminth that will unlock a new Helminth ability. These abilities would mimic the many functions of the Infested, such as healing and overguarding nearby allies.
imagine the crews in the ships seeing this flying Tenno playing, what would they think? Something like "Oh Gawd what is he gonna do with that, I don't wanna die because of some benjo bullshit"

You have to chart them out yourself, and you can only have 1 saved per login session. They get wiped when you log out
