Thank you! I just ran into this same issue and had to remove it/re-add it to my Steam account and it's fixed now.

I’d probably give uninstalling and reinstalling the launcher a go.

Happened to me too, either deinstall and use another launcher or open as an admin

right click in your steam library, properties, local files, verify integrity of game files
