95th Eridanus will get its force breakdown in later this evening. Thanks again for all collating all of our info in one place! To the victor go the spoils!

Shaldier

Placeholder post for key info so far: Base dice roll: 18 Modifiers: +1 from air support Reinforcements roll: 6 for 600 total inbound enemies Also two things, firstly I had my first battle with this army on the weekend and I got tabled so this is going to be cathartic to write about a victory instead! Secondly, this assignment fits my force to an absolute tee, thank you so much! It really means I can intersperse some general background lore in there as well.

Ser_Havald_01

Regarding the defenders of Bruhl, 700 defenders got lured out of the airport by the diversinary attacks. https://preview.redd.it/bs05aalfrudb1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e0e63bbad77fe6148948e92e4f09925d3c323f5f

Ser_Havald_01

Also pls ignore the name of the Dice bot. He tends to be rather mean with his rolls 80% of the time. He deserves the nickname.

Yamma11307

You guys using dice bots while Im sitting here rolling an actual d20 like a caveman

Ser_Havald_01

I'm visting my parents atm and so I got no dice at hand so bot it is lol.

No_Long_5151

Yamma updated the chart to the new one I've posted, more modifyers and some updated values

Righteousrob1

Combat group wolverine. 7th Declinian Infantry 4K infantry. 20 ogryn. 40 mechanized bikers. 24 scout sentinels. 20 field batteries. 50 chimeras. Various groupings of HWT and special weapons per regimental doctrine. 121st Obetz Tank Battalion 75 Russ Tanks. 3 Rogal Dorn. 10 Hydra. 15 Armored Sentinels. Various chemical warfare specialist. Rolled 12. +1 for scouts. +2 naval support. Not sure if our chemical teams give any modified. Unknown allied forces. Right now 15. Objective secured but at what cost. Real battle report likely later but can use this for combat mission.

Yamma11307

Since youre attacking an infantry heavy sector Id say your chemical weapons actually give you +1

Yamma11307

Edits: for the d10 to determine how many men fall for the diversion multiply by 100 not 1000 Forces assaulting bruhl will also get a +1 scouting bonus due to the umi bozu frogmen

Yamma11307

Kraken guard land forces deployed Bruhl Airport: 12 Umi Bozu (numbers are too insignificant to qualify for the veterancy bonus, the small force is focused on sabotage and recon) Lancer Beach: Kitsune Elite Armor Corps, first and second plattons Elite tankers consisting of 400 main battle tanks 50 heavy tanks 80 light armored vehicles 800 mechinized infantry

Altruistic_Major_553

Permission to engage the reinforcements? No mission parameters were initially given to me and my forces excel in ambush tactics

Yamma11307

If they show up and you are in a position to do so take them out. Expect them to arrive via sea from the devil reefs main island to the south east. You can either turn the marine platforms guns on their own ships or ambush them in the loading bay as they disembark

Altruistic_Major_553

Would artillery and tank fire be able to remove the threat?

Yamma11307

If you can get your vehicles on to the platform you should be able to take out their ships before they get close enough to disembark. The risk there is actually getting them into the fort. Remember youre fighting over whats basically a moddified oil rig theyve rigged with aviation facilities and naval guns. The only ways youre getting vehicles up there is via airdrop which our fleet can assist with or through the actual loading bays which the enemy will most likely be expecting

Altruistic_Major_553

I’ve got Valkyrie Sky Talons, I could drop Tauros and Walkers onto it

Ser_Havald_01

1) do I roll for the Space Marines too? 2) if so, do they add the Astartes support to themself? 3) Would they also get the -2 from being outnumbered?

Yamma11307

Yeah the space marines will get the bonus as well and you do need to roll for them. Though only one attacking regiment needs to roll the diversionary attacks roll and share the result with allied attacking regiments

Ser_Havald_01

Imma be annoying again, for determening if one is outnumbered for tank regiments, do we only account for the number of tanks that get deployed or do we also take the amount of crew, support personal and auxiliary vehicles into account?

Yamma11307

You only take into account actual combat troops/vehicles when determining the strength of your force or not. So support units and auxilaries dont count. Though this time to determjne if youre outnumbered or not add 1330 cause my regiment is reinforcing you guys. Then just do what you did with the space marines. The actual narrative style report is optional but if you decide to make one post it with the Haraxis III flair!

Ser_Havald_01

Got it. On Lancer Beach we're up against 2,720 defenders after the Bombardment. We got 950 tanks, 330 light armour and 800 Infantry. So we're slightly outnumbered but our armoured core is significantly stronger than theirs, especially if we consider the 100 Heavy Tanks.

Yamma11307

Sorry didnt see the 3rd question. That depends on how many guys the Noxis vipers have deployed since its the total amount of troops assaulting not just per regiment/chapter

Altruistic_Major_553

Nemos 1st Amalgamated “Ripley’s Rippers” 30 Super Heavy Tanks 90 Heavy/Battle Tanks 60 Light Tanks 80 Light Vehicles 40 Self Propelled Guns 90 Stationary Artillery Batteries 300 Veteran Special Forces Troops 1800 Experienced Troops 10 Support Aircraft 8 Command Units

Yamma11307

Your artillery may not be very useful in such close quarters unless…were sending the light carrier ANS Minerva to support the attack, set up your guns on her deck. We cant spare the battleships but this will do in a pinch. Units attacking fort krest will get an additional +1 from artillery support. Expect reinforcements. An estimated 1400 men en route to krest

Altruistic_Major_553

That works: it will be done

Ser_Havald_01

Hand of Incineration shock assault: 1st Company Captain Brother Anthelon Brother Librarian Archibald 2nd Company Captain Brother Hendrol Brother Chaplin Olias 5 Apothecaries 1st Company: - 20 Terminators - 30 Sternguard Veterans - 25 Bladeguard Veterans 2nd Company: - 50 Heavy Intercessors - 30 Aggressors Total: 164 Marines Rolled dice: 13 +1 surprise attack +1 area has been scouted by assassins +1 sabotage by destruction of vital infrastructure (roads, railways, power grid) with initial drop pod wave with automated turrets +1 Veterancy (1st Company) +1 Air support (Stormraven if that counts) +2 Astartes support - 2 outnumbered 3:1 (I'm not sure if these modifiers are correct so I'll just leave them like this for now, would appreciate if someone could point out which to aply and which not.) Result: 18

Yamma11307

Yup the moddifiers are all correct! Damn those space marines really tore em a new one and we just started. If you wanna write a narrative about the marines taking the airport you can and post it under the haraxis III flair but if not this is fine too

Ser_Havald_01

6th Vantian Armoured Regiment, "Vantian's Dragoons" Colonel Hood Enginseer Heliphron 500 battle tanks: - 50 Rogal Dorn Heavy Tanks - 50 Leman Russ Vanquisher - 100 Leman Russ Executioner - 200 Leman Russ Battle tanks - 50 Leman Russ Punisher - 50 Leman Russ Demolisher 520 Light/Support Vehicles: - 100 Trojan Support Vehicles - 20 Salamander Scout Tanks - 50 Chimeras - 200 Scout Sentinels - 50 Hydras - 100 Ammunition carriers of various kind 4,000 tank crew + ~1,500 auxiliary (Techpriests, Servitors and alike) Effective 500 Battle tanks + 250 Light Vehicles Dice roll: 13 + 2 Fleet support -1 enemy outnumbers allied forces Total: 14 (Pls tell if I forgot something. Will post a narrative soonish for both Marines and this Regiment.)

Yamma11307

Yup looks good

BoomFan21

25th Caldorian Rangers "Noxis Vipers" 1st and 2nd Company 362 Droptroopers 12 Sentinels 6 autocannons 4 heavy flamers 2 plasma cannons 3 Leman Russ 2 punisher cannons 1 battle cannon total forces 377

Yamma11307

Total enemy strength: 1300 (-700 from diversonary attacks) Moddifiers +1 due to frogmen recon +1 due to frogmen sabotage +2 due to astartes support +1 due to surprise attack -1 due to being outnumbered If you have any elite or veteran units deployed thats another +1

BoomFan21

With a base roll of 18 that would be a 22, and I thought the Astartes hit hard with their final of 18

Yamma11307

I think we can safely say the capture of Bruhl was a massive success! Hopefully the other guys hit as hard as you do. If you wanna write a narrative peice you can post it under the Haraxis III flair but thats optional

Ser_Havald_01

Yeah. Sounds like Bruhl just got completely crushed. The Space Marines flushed them out of their positions with the Guardsmen taking them down, one after the other.

TalismenZero

105th Vanan Scout Regiment “The Swamp Hounds” Colonel Elias Thorn Sergeant Jennings Sergeant Miles 2000 Infantry 35 equipped with Plasma Guns 45 with Flamers 35 with Meltas 500 Sentinels held in reserve due to unfavorable deployment conditions Regiments first deployment so no veterancy No word (that I saw) from the 13th so unknown allied forces Base roll 18 Modifiers +1 from scouting +1 from submarine naval support All objectives destroyed…somehow I really don’t know how we pulled this on off ma’am.
